Where can I find the players stats for rbi 2 & 3. Thank you

BeefMaster

Found a thread with a text file containing RBI 3 data: https://forums.dee-nee.com/index.php?topic=2382.msg29808#msg29808

Nightwulf and I both had copies of the ROM with bogus data for 1987 Alan Trammell, so he's got a mangled power rating, but it otherwise should be good as far as I know. Note that IIRC the 85 Cardinals are not actually selectable in the original game due to a bug but their data is there (Nightwulf also attached a ROM hack that makes them selectable).

I don't know that anyone ever posted a full RBI 2 roster list, although I believe the four 89 playoff teams are ripped straight from the RBI 2 rosters.

FWIW the correlation of the players' stats to their power/contact ratings is a lot stronger in RBI 2 & 3 than it was in the original, with a few exceptions (the 84 Cubs must've had a fan on the dev team and are hilariously overpowered; 89 Canseco has much higher power than 17 homers would indicate because he was injured a lot of the year and I assume they wanted to make the most popular player have accurate on-field ratings), so you can figure out the ratings a lot more just by eyeballing the rosters than you could in RBI 1.

If you can get access to a copy of the manual, I also figured out how the speed ratings translate from there - the manual gives every player a rating, and I figured out that each point in the manual (which is roughly a 0-20 scale) is two points of actual in-game rating, with manual speed 10 = in-game speed 132. For example (and this is how I figured it out, because I had his ratings memorized), 89 Sandberg is listed at 10 speed in the manual, and 90 Sandberg is listed at 13. In the game data, 89 Sandberg has 132, and 90 Sandberg has 138.

Ok cool ty for the leads! I was google searching last night to see if i could find anything.  All i found was a faq wkth the names and teams. Was looking at making a rom with rosters from 2 & 3 but on the original game so was curious what the ratings were.

Here's 2 manual. Would love to know how that translates to original rum for ratings https://www.digitpress.com/library/manuals/nes/RBI%20Baseball%202.pdf
