The only reason I thought I had an extra infielder is because usc made an honest mistake and marked one of my outfielders as an infielder on my team list.

I wouldn't think of asking for help because I screwed up my picks.

the only thing is that i don't think a team should gain an advantage over everybody else, just because they don't want to sit one of their players.  we all have to sit certain players.  i think we should all be responsible for our own draft lists, and who we have, all our players.  can't we trade players later anyway?  you don't want to give away that upperhand you may have. my opinion.

Well, I don't think that sitting or playing Candy Maldanado is going to be a huge difference one way or another, and I feel pretty responsible for this mistake, so I'm going to change the Candyman to an IF for the purposes of this season.

I completely agree but a mistake was made by the Commish, causing me to draft improperly.  The Commish offered the trade to me as compensation.  I originally turned it down but then realized I would have to bench one of my original picks.

I'm not asking for special treatment and if it's that big of a deal, I'll gladly bench one of my outfielders.  I'm simply trying to take the Commish up on his offer.

It's usc's decision.

fknmclane's picks were compromised because fightonusc posted that he had only chosen 2 outfielders.

thinking he had one more chance to pick a starting outfielder, he chose Candy Maldonado.

Had he known that Maldonado would be a bench player, he would have chosen an equally powerful infielder.

he would only gain a 30 point advantage if he made the trade.

Well, let's make the trade, then. I'll take Candy as an OF, you can have Kevin Mitchell as an IF, and then no one has to bench anyone or switch positions.

And that is a final decision.

Again, I didn't mean for this to become a big deal.  I should have just PM'd the Commish and settled it that way.

You know what...GreatScott took off without making his next pick or giving me any proxy picks. So, I'm just going to continue auto-drafting for him from here on out.

Hard to say. He also referenced his "team of scrubs", so I think he knows that we were drafting for him. This is why I can't emphasize enough getting proxy picks to me if you're not going to be around.
