OK, I think I'm rested enough from the draft to get the league started this coming week (beginning Oct. 4). Here is the schedule for week 1:

Tuesday: The Poopydicks @ defen
Wednesday: The Creamy Pirates @ The OC
Thursday: The Nimrods @ Da ShitPaws
Friday: BeefMaster @ GreatScott

If you have any changes to your starting rosters, I have to have them by noon Monday, Oct. 4 (Pacific time) for this week's games. I will post the Week 1 ROM on Monday afternoon.

As you can see above, I am going to try to simulate one game a day. Games will either be played at 12 p.m. or 5 p.m. (all time approximate and Pacific time). If you are interested in watching the game being played, let me know and I will play that game over the Dee-Nee server using that week's ROMs.

Of course, shit happens, and I might have to miss a day and play a couple of games on the weekend, or at a different time than scheduled. I trust that you guys will understand that.

I think that posting the entire video is just going to be too big. If you want, I can send a video of highlights of the game to you via e-mail (with a low res QT, it might be a couple of MBs). If you are interested in getting the highlights of your game, let me know where to send the e-mail, and I will do that every week.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

I've run several practice games against the Nimrods, and I've come to the conclusion that I am going to lose.

I simulated one game where the computer left Scott in for the full nine... actually won that one.

OK, here is the final ROM for Week 1. If there are any errors on here, make a protest now. A few quick thoughts.

- I can't seem to get the weird pixels out of the way for my team and ShitPaw in terms of the initials - I take the two offendin pixels out of the first letter, save it, and when I reopen it, the pixels are back.

- Since nnNesterj seems to have decided to create a Runtime conflict on my computer, video of the games may be difficult, but I will do the best I can to try and get something. At the least, we'll have the screen capture of the final score screen, my stats and game notes.

- The first game is tomorrow between The Poopydicks and the Fighting Tony Danzas. Since I'll be at a company lunch at noon Pacific tomorrow, the game will be played at around 1 p.m.

where is the updated rom by the way?
Quote from: Nacho on 03/15/16, 10:17:08 AMWe've had babe drafts. We've had a sandwich draft. We can have our babes and eat sandwiches, too.

Are there changes between this ROM and the preseason ROM?

Justy a couple. GreatScott changed his line-up, and Teddy changed his starting rotation. Other than that, it should be pretty similar.

I'm starting to realize that with my schedule, it's tough to mae sure that it's "a game a day", or that certain games are played at certain times. So, I'm going to play the week's games during that week, but whenever I get a chance. The deadline to get roster changes to me (noon on Mondays) still remains, though. It's easier for me to be able to get a bunch of games done at once instead of spreading them out over the course of four days.
