Quit worrying about the odds and start worrying about the games...

I'm not worrying about it at all.  I'd just think real odds would be pretty fun and I don't think your odds are real.  I think it'd be more fun to have the odds be as accurate as possible.  And if I'd played Riley a shitload of times, I should accept your statement that Riley's better than me?  It's no big deal, but it's also not accurate and I just let you know...

Listen guys, I'm glad everybody is so into this and at the risk of being the party-pooper here, but please remember that the event is first and foremost an RBI tournament.  I respectfully ask that you guys don't disturb the tourney.  I've put way too much work into this tourney to have it turn into a joke tourney.  Also, there's too many people who are in the tourney who are really looking forward to the actual tourney.

Perhaps your tomfolery can primarily take place outside of tournament rooms...fair?

I was waiting for this post to come, I'm first and foremost here for the RBI, and if/when I get knocked out early, I'm going to be as respectful and interested in the rest of the tourney as possible, so I'm a check in the box for "not going to crash the tourney".

I still haven't sent out McLane's Discount Card, but I'll be doing that ASAP (good thing you guys brought this thread back) I'll also be checking on our reservations and such tomorrow night (late tomorrow night, so expect an update Friday morn)

I'll check on that as well tomorrow night, if it's cool with Malnu, it's cool with me for you to be our third man (I hope someone makes a gay joke here). I feel bad for making the promise of cheap rooms and then the hotel taking it away before we could get more than three rooms booked, so it's cool with me (but up to Malnu) if you crash with us.

Sweet, between your ZZ Top Goatee, my Handle Bar mustache (Coming along nicely, will definitely be ready in time) and Malnu's mask, the ladies will be swarming to our room and if I'm somehow not single by that time, I make a kick ass wingman and am actually known for not blocking most guys that I don't think are absolute dicks.

I'm pretty sure our room is reserved from Friday the 24th due out on the 27th, this way we'll have at least one (cheap) room for Sunday to play games and such throughout the day. But like I said, I'll be sure to double check all that tomorrow night...Also, again, it's cool with me, but you definitely want to check with Malnu before you get your hopes up, as he has long legs and all and needs his room (I think)

Sunday doesn't matter, we've got the two Queens and a Pull out sofa and all, I just booked it for Sunday on the huge off chance that I somehow make it to Sunday, plus there'll be a room for Sunday's games, plus I plan on sticking around to see the finals and all and do some partying with the stragglers Sunday night (as I plan on that being my main day for lots and lots of drinking and such, since I shouldn't have plans for Monday)

I am so fucking psyched right now (plus I learned how to do italics and such, so I'm pretty excited about exploiting that as well)

I will definitely respect the confines of the RBI Tourney...however, keep in mind that I am here for one reason: getting drunk with my Internet friends.  I'll be taking part in RBI and trying my damnest to win, but consider my $75 a donation for the most part.  Also, don't be surprised if one of the Dee-Nee'rs gets in a fight with one of the "I take RBI seriously and spend most of my time conjuring up different strategy for every possible gametime situation" guys.   I honestly don't think it will happen, but some of these "RBI" types seem like real gems.

Nah, a fight isn't going to happen.  I'm MC of the tourney, and I'll step in whenever necessary.  Just know that there won't be any drunkardness in the game rooms.

Here here Flood, here here.   Dub and I have you and Malnu down for the golf foursome.  Are you any good?  I'm mediocre, around a 90-95 most days.  What day do you guys want to play?  Are you going to be there Friday?  That might make it easier, so we don't "disrupt" RBI.  And as far as drunkeness, if you don't want us near the tourney, let us know and we'll go whoring.  Nothing wrong with that.  But Dub and I both felt that this was a chance for us to get drunk and meet our internet friends, and have a great weekend with plenty of stories to share on the boards for those fellas that couldn't make it.  We'll respect the tourney, don't worry about it.  But I'm pretty sure I can count on  Flood, Mclane, G-man, and others wanting to enjoy cold wobbly pops while NES'ing it up.  So poo-poo, party pooper, poo-poo.  (that last sentence was purely a way to work the word "poo" into as many place as possible)

i'd doubt any fights break out.  I know how serious video games can be and all, but we are dee-nee breatheren and that would be stoopid.  i know all about being grumpy when i play bad, but as long as no-ones an ass during the game, yall should be fine.

First tourney games are scheduled for 10 am.  As of right now, the lottery is scheduled to take place sometime before then in Sat morning, but the growing sentiment is to have it take place any time now (to allow for board-smack-talk), so that might change.
