One of use should be the in charge of EBaying products, for something like 25% of the sale price. I have a bunch of crap I would gladly hand off to someone else to ebay for a cut of the profits. Lips? Potsie?

It should also be noted that the tourament rules specifically state that anything agreed upon by both parties is acceptable (within reason, of course).  For example, Gantry and Lips are perfectly legit to both agree to play this season straight pitch...only stipulations are 1) they both have to agree, and 2) the tourney will not uphold said rules--meaning, if somebody throws a curve, so be it. 

NOW MORE IMPORTANTLY, I FULLY EXPECT THE DEE NEE CONTINGENCY TO ACTIVELY WAGER ON THIS MATCH UP.  STOCK, YOU'RE THE BOOKIE!

The only person I have practiced curve with so far is Lipitz, so this is most awkward.  I have been winning consistently, but all the games are dead close until Lips self-destructs in the 8th and 9th.  It is probably 60/40 me if I had to wager...

Would people be mad if we actually played via the RBI Drinking Game rules?  Would that piss on the tourney if we did  the straight-pitch drinking game?  I'm not sure what I want to do here.  I think many here would get a kick out of it if we did the original dee-nee game, but I don't know if others will think that's "fair"

Gantry, I strongly suggest that you and Lips play by drinking game rules.  None of this would have been possible without you and your Chicago crew's tireless devotion to an 80's NES game.  If you only do it in the game between you and Lips, no one else gets fucked of, and no one else is impacted.  DO IT.

Based on new information, here's my completed brackets for the Tournament Pool/Puhl

It's a tough call.

Cons for drinking game:

1)  I've been doing well against Lips in our curve games, taking some of my advantage away
2)  Because you can only use a team once for an entire series, the coinflip winner has to go against Boston/Cali with San Fran or Minnesota in game two.  That's a serious disadvantage...
3)  Getting drunk is a bad way to prepare for round two.
4)  I'll likely still be hungover for the games
5)  Some of the non-forum regulars might think it's uncool to play a straight, drinking series

Pros:

1)  I think many of the dee-nee regulars would love to see an authentic tourney drinking series
2)  We are both more comfortable with this style of play
3)  Beer is good
4)  It would take some of the seriousness out of the tourney
5)  We'd have way more fun this way
6)  Crazy, non-married Lipitz will make a rare appearance
