Well, Hendu's got more power than Pedro.  879 (H) vs 849 (P).
I've been swimming in raw sewage ... I love it

Sorry about the delay...trying to swing a deal with "stingy" Ryno.

Gimme some Kevin Mitchell and the headless cat.

Sir Gantry is up.

Nails/Lips,

Is the Sheridan for Lou deal done?  If so, (out of fairness) I should give any of the other players in our league a chance to strike this trade.  If two or more players (25%) wish to block this trade, it should be their right.
We have always done this for our fantasy league, just to prevent any team for getting lopsided (or anyone "working" a great team w/ someone else :().
I KNOW nobody is doing this here, but just want to be a fair commish.   ;D
If 2 people do not strike this by tomorrow morning, we will consider it done.

Gantry, is up for the next pick.

I choose not to stand in the way of this trade.  There was no attempt at collusion, in my opinion.  I think teams have the right to make poor trades (not that this is one)--that doesn't mean there's attempt to cheat.  Some people just make poor trades.

Yeah, it's a done deal.  So if anyone wants to veto it, fire away.

I wholeheartedly approve the Sheridan for Whitaker trade.  Lips went tactical and it backfired, he is one of the finest (if not THE finest) straight-pitch Pat Sheridan players in the country.  Most would probably prefer Whitaker, but not the dee-nee clan...

Baines

I don't have a problem with it.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

Lips

Shit, I'm back...and everyone is online.  Nice!!

The quintessential #7 sub joins the

Jim Lindeman, RBI Legend

Intro

Quick question - what's the greatest thing to come out of Des Plaines, Illinois? If you said that original McDonalds franchise or that new White Castle on River Road, you are way off. It's the one and only Jim Lindeman, RBI Legend:

The Facts

    * Born January 10th, 1962
    * Played his college ball at Bradley University in Illinois
    * Played in the Big Leagues from 1986-1994
    * Hit a Home Run in the 1987 NLCS
    * Faced off against former college teammate Kirby Puckett in the 1987 World Series
    * From the great town of Des Plaines, Illinois
    * Was a "Roving Hitting Instructor" for the White Sox Training Centers
    * Currently varsity coach of the Rolling Meadows High School Baseball Team

To Learn More

    * Lindeman's Stats on Baseball Reference
    * Lindeman's Stats on CNN/SI
    * Some weird website with Jim Lindeman's home address on it
    * Lindeman's profile on The Bull Sox Academy website
    * Detailed Directions to Jim Lindeman's House

Conclusion

Jim Lindeman is the man, pure and simple. His play on the field of RBI is nothing short of legendary. Most rookies to the game scoff when big Jim takes the field, but us veterans know better. After Jack Clark, he is the most powerful hitter on the Cardinals roster. Put him in at the seven spot and watch the homers fly...

Gantry

Baines is up, followed by Noah....

Don't you guys have anything better to do on a Friday night?

Lips

The Thundercats are trade-happy.  We are willing to trade Jim Rice straight up for Gibson.

By the way, the current RBI Legends count:
Gantry and the Poopybutts 2
Lipitz and the Thundercats 2
Noah and the Ark 1

JoeDirt

A lot of curve players put Lindeman at 7th, too...but I'm here to tell you people that it is a big mistake bc in curve, it's too easy to walk around Clark if Lindeman isn't hitting directly before/after him.

Yes, I definitely agree.  Hope I'm not coming across as a dick, just want to be fair with the trading thing from the beginning. (This is the first trade).  All we are trying to prevent is a ridiculous trade (ie.. I wish to trade Armas and Evens for Burlsn).

Lets go with Mr. Pine Tar.

Damn the talent is getting thin pretty quickly.

as much as I hate lefties, Gibby is too good to give up.  Even for Mr RBI.

Gantry

You don't get to use him as a lefty...

We at dee-nee.com love our RBI Legends.  That or we overvalue them because of the PH bonus.  Only time will tell...

Nice... You have one more yet.
