 The big anticipation around Dee-Nee land is this Saturday's 4-man qualifier for the 2003 RBI Tournament. Since Potsie and I made the finals last year, we have automatically qualified for the semi-finals. With Sperling still sitting up in Wisconsin waiting to go to war/peace, we have three new entrants - Jason, Nick and Zorba. The remaing member of the foursome is Lips, who desperately seeks his first title. Saturday's games will be played via the standard tourney rules, though since it's only a qualifier the finals will not be played. Top two records out of the round-robin make it to the big tourney, which will be played in a few weeks. We will have plenty of footage this year, as we're going to run the NES through a VCR and record all the games. So expect some crazy plays and glitches early next week. In the meantime, vote for who you think will qualify...

As I've been helping my newbie brother prepare for the qualifier, I have been playing many games with Houston in the last couple weeks. As a result, I realized that my Houston Synopsis was in dire need of amendment. It is now up to date with my current Houston winning strategies...

Finally, I've updated the Hall of Shame Page in light of a few recent happenings - Jose Canseco's house arrest and self-prostitution on EBay and Kirby Puckett's acquittal of groping charges. Strawberry is out of jail now, so expect an update or two from him shortly...
