LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Dodgers hitting coach Jack Clark was fired Sunday night after the team returned from Atlanta, MLB.com reported Monday.

Clark will be replaced on an interim basis by George Hendrick, batting instructor for the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate in Las Vegas and a former St. Louis teammate of Clark, according to the Web site.
