Also, TBT, haven't you ever jumped up jump up get down and accidentally farted the NES?  That will make you step softly forever more.

A friend and I were playing bubble bobble one night before going to play parking lot football, it took us the better part of an hour before we got to the last level, another friend of ours was bored and screwing around with a football when he lost control and it landed on the NES.

Heartbroken, we proceeded to convince his girlfriend that he was cheating on her.

Now he has a baby on the way and works at a gas station, so I think we all know who the winners were in the end.

Lately I've been seeing how far I can get on Bubble Bobble without continuing.  I think 68 is the farthest I got, or maybe a little before that.  Those late levels are fkn hard with only one player.
