fighton, can you look up my edits (same filename as yours but with my screen name at the end) on nightwulf's site and see the symbol change as well as color change we did for the oc?

i'm not sure if that's how you wanted us to make changes...

These aren't the same old Popes.

This is the regular season. You can make changes on a weekly basis. So, after this week's game, you have time to tweak your line-up for the Week 2 games. Also, any trades made between now and the start of Week 2 go into effect in Week 2.

Game 1 is between The Mexican Hermaphrodite Whores and The Nimrods, to be played later today.

TBG - I was hoping you would make the changes directly to the ROM I had loaded and not to a different one. I'll make the changes for Week 2.

Here is the blank Statistic Spreadsheet, I probably spelled some names wrong which I'll fix later (I only use the first 8 letters).  For now ignore the schedule and standings tabs, as I don't think I'm going to be tracking that for this league, if anyone has any questions about the stats, let me know.

I should get box scores up for each game the following day during my lunch

I assume this is all OK with USC

Hendrick's Walk-Off Home Run Lifts Nimrods over Mexican Hermaphrodite Whores in Season Opener

DEE-NEE CITY - George Hendrick belted four home runs, including a two-run walk-off shot in the bottom of the ninth, to lead The Nimrods to an 18-16 victory over The Mexican Hermaphrodite Whores in the season opening Fantasy RBI league game, played Monday afternoon at Tengen Stadium.

Hendrick finished the game 5 for 6 with five RBI and four runs scored. His game-winning shot was hit roughly 372 feet into the left-center field bleachers. In a tragic note, the ball struck a drunken fan in the head who was busy trying to avoid being molested by what witnesses report as "some sort of whale that can walk on land." The man, identified as Chubb Rock of Phoenix, was killed instantly.

"We're obviously very upset that this could happen at one of our games," said Fantasy RBI Commissioner Richard Man Freddy. "However, we're equal confused as to how the hell the ball missed that tubby bitch and plunked that guy in the head. I mean, he weight about a buck fifty, and she must have been three bills. This was clearly a million to one shot. And oh yeah, congratulations to the fan who retrived the bloody ball from near his friend's corpse."

The fan, who only gave "Mike D." as his name, is said to be planning on selling the ball on eBay with "some portion" of the proceeds going to Rock's family.

The Mexican Hermaphrodite Whores has a balanced offense led by Pedro Guerrero, who had two home runs. After the game, Guerrero told reporters that "me like hit ball" and "where is stuff what go up my noses?"

I don't know if we are allowed to comment until after the Box Score is up for the game, so I won't say results.  But poor defensive showing early on by the FTAS, and a key baserunning mistake.  Add that to some clutch relief pitching by the Commie Hitlers and I am a happy camper...

CommieHitlers Take Advantage of Frank Tanana All-Stars Errors, Win 15-8

DEE-NEE CITY - The CommieHitlers took advantage of a rash of mistakes by the Frank Tanana All-Stars to take a 15-8 victory in the Fantasy RBI League opener for both teams Wednesday afternoon at Tengen Stadium. The Frank Tanana All-Stars committed three official errors and had several baserunning gaffes, while another fielding mistake cost them a sure double play.

The high number of mistakes led to speculation that a group of players had decided to throw the game in protest to the team's current financial situation. Ozzie Smith, who went 0 for 4, neither confirmed or denied the reports when asked about it directly.

"Hey, I'm not going to say we threw this game, but when your owner is trying to pay you with Monopoly money, let's just say it's hard to get motivated," Smith said. "Loonies? Sounds pretty loony to me."

Frank Tanana All-Stars owner Shooty Babitt explained that even though his players were being paid in Canadian money instead of American dollars, this shouldn't be a cause for concern.

"No, it's real Canadian tender, usable at any business across the provences," Babitt said. "In fact, with the exchange rate...I mean, come on guys, I didn't have to time to go to the bank and exchange the money this week - there was a Leafs game on. But it's all real money...I swear!"

Babitt denied reports that he planned to pay his team in Google stock next week.

Julio Franco was the offensive star for The CommieHitlers, hitting two home runs and driving in six as part of his 3 for 5 day. The CommieHitlers' bullpen looked sharp, combining to give up just earned runs in five innings.

Coprophiliacs Crap in GDavis' Cheerios, Win 20-15

DEE-NEE CITY - The Coprophiliacs used an eight-run fourth inning to take command of their Fantasy RBI League season opener on Thursday afternoon, pulling ahead and not looking back in taking a 20-15 victory over GDavis.

"Well, I told our team that if they lost, I'd make them wear those god-awful uniforms again," said manager TBT after the game. "I think that was all the motivation they needed."

Keith Hernandez homered twice and Darrell Evans added a homer and five RBI for The Coprophiliacs in the win.  George Bell and Tony Armas both homered twice for GDavis in defeat.

One tactical error GDavis made was counting on a distraction to the opposing by the frequent flashing of his team's mascot, Moses. However, despite frequent shows of her yammers to the Coprophiliacs dugout, the team hardly seemed to notice.

"Well, I've certainly seen them enough times, and this week I prepared the team by showing them the various home movies and pics that I have," TBT said. "Hell, they probably know more about her boobs than she does now."

Absolutely wrong. I cannot believe we lost. I think TBT's team was so pumped after watching his naked ass and that is why they won.Pink is really not a manly man's color you know they must be bicurious or at least completely gay.

They probably finished off the night with a lot of manly ass slapping.

Darkside's Fantasy Watch

The Giants offensive players are performing very well so far. They are demonstrating that the force is strong in them.
Candy went 4-5 with three RBIs, sored 2 runs, belted a laser double, and hit a towering home run.
Spillman lumbered up a 5-6 hitting display. The Jedi hit three doubles with 4 RBI, 2 runs scored and blasted a shot to right field.
Chili had a productive day while going 2-4 with one RBI, two doubles and a run scored
Jose Uribe doubled home a run, was 1-1, and  scored one run coming off the bench.
Robbie Thompson came off the bench to hit a RBI  single. He also went ahead and scored a pivotal run.
Youngblod had a RBI double and scored one run as a pinch hitter.

The relief pitching was solid in Scott Garrelts.  Garrelts threw a very solid inning in the top of the ninth. He got jedi Dale Murphy whiffing. Overall he contributed with one inning pitched, one hit, no runs, and struck out Dale Murphy to end the inning.
Krukow, who is hurt by fantasy style play, showed a lof of heart in his performance while putting his team in a position to win.

The Poopydicks Crush Attarack, 15-1

DEE-NEE CITY - The Poopydicks lit Nolan Ryan up for 15 runs in the second inning en route to a 15-1, two-inning mercy rule victory over Attarack in the Fantasy RBI League opener for both teams, played Tuesday night at Tengen Stadium.

"Hell, having to listen to Rack and Attezzobal gave me a headache, and this beating just made it worse," drawled Ryan. "Fortunately, when I get a tough headache, nothing works better than Advil. And whiskey."

Six different Poopydicks homered while the team collected 16 hits. Tim Raines scored the line run for Attarack, leading off with a triple in the bottom of the first inning and scoring on a throwing error.

Darkside's Fantasy Watch

After a quick one-two-three top of the first, The Poopydicks unleashed a furry of doubles and moonshot bombs in the top of the second inning en route to overwhelming AttaRack, 15-0.
Andre Dawson, Chirs Speir, Brian Downing, Rob Wilfong and Ruppert Jones all homered in the top of the second.  The Poopydick's offense amassed 16 hits, 9 doubles, one triple and  5 home runs, all in the top of the second. One RBI advanced scout observed "I have not seen this kind of offensive display in years".
The highlight of the Poopydicks quick work in disposing Attarack, were four back to back home runs. "The Firework crew probably worked the hardest" said Erhajj with a big smile and happily waving his shovel.
Team owner, Racktacular , was not present at the game, and there is speculation coming from within his circle, that his taking a vacation just before the season opener may have affected his team's concentration level and performance. No comments from AttaRack were made available after the game. Racktacular could not be reached to assess the speculation.
A jubilant Poopydicks clubhouse had the look of an after party. Team owner Ganrtry  put his arm around General Manager fcknmclane and was quoted as saying "What did I say mclane?  If we get Doyle "Cy Young" Alexander our pitching will rock the Casbah.  Great start for the POOPYDICKS, pizza is on me!" Fcknmclane smiled back, winked his eye, and stated " Gotta love it, a great start to the season.  This is only a taste of what is to come."

In other news:
BDawk, who attended the game, was quoted as saying " I will enjoy this season if Attarack blows.  The team owned by the two biggest fucking know-it-alls here.  HA!".
The players from the SF Giants(disciples of the Darkside) continue to show that the force is strong in them.
Chris Speir, Kevin Mitchell, and Bob Brenly combined to go for 5-7 with one home run, a triple, three strongly hit doubles, and 7 RBIs.

The co-gms have big plans in store for The Poopydicks! home opener but can't seem to get together and hammer out the details.

Hey, does anyone want to handle simulating the last game of the week? I'll be busy this weekend with our Friends Thanksgiving, so I probably won't get to it on my own until Monday.

The OC Cruises Past The Hip Young Popes, 16-4

DEE-NEE CITY - In his first start since being released from prison, Doc Gooden scattered four runs over seven innings to lead defending champions The OC to a convincing 16-4 victory over The Hip Young Popes in a Fantasy RBI League game played Tueday afternoon at Tengen Stadium.

"It felt good to be out there with my teammates, and especially my new spiritual counselor BDawk," said Gooden, referring to The OC's general manager and his new "life coach". "BDawk tells me that if I follow his advice, he can help me turn my life around."

Rick Burleson hit for the cycle for The OC, going 4 for 4 with two runs and three RBI. Matt Nokes and Bobby Grich also drove in three to pace a balanced OC offense.

Roger Clemens was roughed up in his first start for The Hip Young Popes, giving up 15 hits and 11 runs over four innings.

Official Press Release from Poopydicks World Headquarters:

First off, we'd like to thank our adoring legion of fans out there.  You keep the team going, you keep the Dicks all kinds of Poopy.  We love you for it.

To show our appreciation, we are hosting an all-day festival/concert/drunkfest/fuckfest at Tengen Stadium for our very first "home" game.

List of special attractions, etc include:
-very special and rare appearance by the rock band "Unexpected Anal."  My co-GM Gantry Zettler and I are very, very excited for this show.  Expect the unexpected bitches.

-a popcorn eating contest between yours truly and my co-GM, Gantry Zettler.  He doesn't know what he's in for.  I've heard the stories but I'm not afraid.  Down goes Zettler! Down goes Zettler!

-my lovely wife, The Saint, will be putting on a clinic for the game Dr. Mario.  She will illustrate her techniques against the one and only nightwulf.  He was chosen for this as his skills are no match for my wife's and it will be far easier to go over strategy and what not while handily beating a lesser player.

-beer garden.  Need I say more?  Actually, yes, I may as well.  We will be serving High Life, High Life Light, PBR and Old Style.  AND NOTHING ELSE!  If you plan on drinking til you can no longer stand and if chatting up transvestites with giant cans becomes your thing after dozens of beers, this is the place for you.

-the jumbotron will be playing short movie clips for the enjoyment of all, including but not limited to: BOOYAH (ditb), the Church of Fudge, the Donkey Punch, Eel-Squirting Asshole and possibly Would it Hurt if I Jammed this Railroad Spike into my Cock?

-the children will be allowed to run the bases at their leisure but parents, please be sure and caution them on the live Bengal tiger roaming short center field (when I say Bengal tiger, I mean the actual 15 foot beast, not a striped tabby that if sold could feed a small village.)

-there will be a designated section for all sexual acts.  We encourage gaping in particular, especially if caused by a vibrator up the butt while the cooter is being mercilessly pounded.

-lest we forget, we will have no less than a dozen 60", top of the line video screens for playing RBI Baseball.

We look forward to seeing all of you at Tengen Stadium next week and thank you for your continued support.

Faithfully yours,

fknmclane and Gantry

POOPYDICKS!!!!

Glad people like it, for next week Attarack's page will be fixed (forgot H, AB, and TB formulas apparently)

Also you can sort the stats on the Batters and Pitchers pages by selecting all and on the tool bar Data then dropdown to Sort, to see in every category

The stats are awesome, Ult. Thanks for doing this for this season.

If you have any line-up/uniform changes, get them to me ASAP. I'm working on the Week 2 ROM now.
