I was wondering why these guys might still be playing, other than for money or the pure joy of the game...

John Franco
Number 2 on the all-time saves list, he trails Lee Smith 424-478

Not this year, but maybe he can hold on

Jesse Orosco
Adding on to his all-time record of games played for a pitcher

Julio Franco
???

Benny Santiago
897 RBI

Ellis Burks
351 HR

Andres Galarraga
398 HR

sucka free

Who will be the last player to go????

ultimate7

That's a good question, I could see any of them going at any time now.  I like Santiago and John Franco to be the last 2, but that means they'll probably be the 1st 2 to retire.

The Raiders are a successful organization

I think Timmy is done after this year.
Julio Franco will always have a job with the Braves as long as they can keep paying him jack shit.
Benny will be around for a while.
I think Franco is playing his last year.  He has NO shot at that saves record.
Orosco will play until someone doesn't sign him.  Lucky for us and him, a team is always in need of a lefty specialist.
The Big Cat?  Who knows.  He already came back from cancer.  Who's to say old age and lack of skills will stop him.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

Orosco... the ultimate fulfilment of "he's crafty he gets around"

fknmclane

I think Orosco is half man, half Gumby.

The over-under for Orosco's making the hall would be 55 years of age.  How old is Pete Rose again?
I don't know what I'm doing.

Glassjoe

and don't forget, clemens just might come back....before he left.

Franco's claim to fame is probably that he's lied about his age on more than one occasion...  Think he's 45 now...
