Dee-Nee house games for 8/2/2004

In honor of my birthday, Lips and Pots are over for some RBI.  Game one was all Lips:

Lips (Det) - 27, 17 homers
Gantry (Ca) - 15, 12 homers

Slaughter in the 6th.  Pat Sheridan was something like 5-5 with 4 dingers and two grand slams.  Rupperto was I think 5-5 with 5 dingers for me, maybe it was 4-4 though...

Lips and Potsie up now, good game..

Great second game:

Potsie (Ca) - 25, 14 HRs
Lips (Det) - 24, 19 HRs

A lot of dingers to lose with, Potsie comes back with a huge 7-run 8th inning.  Potsie gets Bergman to popout to end the game on a fastball with two strikes...

Gantry (Ca) - 12

Slaughter in 8 innings.  Trying to remember the last time I got slaughtered twice in a row.  Dah Nah...

Update - Potsie won the next game, took a break then I beat Lipitz about 24-18 in the finally.  Good games all around...
