Sort of along these lines...I just found out that BDawk is not black...see, I did not know that.  That rocks my world.  Am I the only one, here that thought he was a brother?

I'm only black where it counts...

Since everyone was white in RBI, and my baseball knowledg was still far from complete, I was very surprised when I eventually found out certain RBI players were black guys. Among them:

1. Lou Whitaker
2. Andre Dawson
3. Donnie Moore
4. Dave Henderson
5. Kirby Puckett
6. Harold Baines
7. George Bell

Anyone else remember the same thing? If so, for whom?
I'm speechless, you didn't know who any of these guys were?  Am I just getting old?

Just found out that Ralph Garr was black

Brookensrules!

Donnie Moore, I probably didn't know he was black because I wasn't familiar with the player.

I always assumed Dan Driessen was white until I saw a baseball card recently.  He played into the era that I collected cards, but I had no recollection.

He looks like a Disco version Devon White.  Which would also be an awesome nickname.

Love the old discussions - guy who didn't know that Kirby Puckett and Andre Dawson were black and another guy who didn't want to believe the raw speed numbers pulled out of the ROMs.
