Today, my 18 month old son played RBI by himself for the first time.

As I was playing around with my 80s rom, he hops in my laps and  and takes the controller.  He throws 5 pitches to Kirk Gibson. . . . outside corner -- called stirke. . .. 2 balls outside. . . .2 straight knucklers for the K.

Hitting  was not good, but he's got the pitching mastered!

It should be noted that my boy is named after an RBI'er. . . .Ryne Sandberg.

Way to start him young.  I'll bet he's better than I am in six months.
I've been swimming in raw sewage ... I love it

Is this the first 2nd generation RBI player?

Nah, my eight year old has been playing since he was three.  18 months is one hell of good start.  How'd you stop him from eating the controller?

congrats!!

Sounds like he could give Joe Dirt a competitive match up  8)

I could see Joe Dirt cheating so that he could beat a 1 year old, like taking candy from a baby.

The Raiders are a successful organization

Gantry

This is a good thing, spreading RBI to the next generation.   At what age do you ween them into tubgirl and DITB?

I think if you make these kids play Houston until they are 10, they'd be unstoppable when they discover the real teams.  The skill set and fundamentals would be through the roof!
