starmen.net is another server you can try for online play.  Please try that server if the dee-nee one is laggy and let me know if it is any better...

Nerd talk ahead...

More testing on our line and we are getting 424k and 800k on separate online bandwidth tests.  Our line runs at 1544k so something is seriously wrong.  I'm going to call my ISP and see if they can pinpoint an IP causing trouble or if it's a line issue.  SBC did do some work last week so I wouldn't put it past them...

Good news is that this is fixable and online RBI should be back to normal shortly....

Update - still laggy and starmen.net is still fucked. And Generalisimo Franco is still dead.

good news gantry ... i felt like a recovering alchie tasting a good scotch after ten dry years.  playing online last week was the first real game ive played since i was a kid.  Im ready to feed my addiction.  Bring the online bloodbath.  Its time to seperate the men from the boys.
