My future wife has allowed me to use RBI theme music for when we announce the wedding party. The question is, do we use runners on base or bases empty music?

I agree with bases empty - it's the more well known version and you may get a couple folks to remember this...

If the wife is the same lady that you posted a pic of when she was your girlfriend, then you are a lucky man.  Congrats!

Doesn't the runners-on music consist of only four different notes, played repeatedly in groups?  I'm for the bases-empty music as well.

And obviously this is going to be a marriage that will pass the test of time.

PS. You are talking about the original RBI right?  The music in RBI 3 lacks soul...

JoeDirt

I would think it only appropriate to play bases empty while the first couple is announced but then thereafter, runners on would be required.

The dee nee tard mixed in with gantry looks a little bit like TBT

I believe the soothing, acoustic Dylan Gentile version is what you are looking for.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

We went with bases empty. It went over great. And here is my cake from the rehearsal dinner (a complete surprise).

Wow, not only is that cake great, but your wife looks WAY better than you.  No offense.

Briznock

I am enjoying the cake.... But the people making out behind you in the picture is much better.

I wish I was at that wedding.

JoeDirt

That cake is awesome.  The "Game Over" at the top is a nice touch...as is the runner on second base running with the pitch...

If there is one thing I know, it is that I am batting way above my average with her.
