Gantry, is there a way to make the RBI music the background music for this site? It may give this site an even more realistic feel for RBI Baseball.

Great idea - FOR ME TO POOP ON!  No crappy-sounding MIDI music!  No sound effects floating into the hallway while I browse this site at work!  Maybe if Gantry could have a "Don't ever, ever, ever play music when I'm at this site" button, which would set a cookie with the preference, I could handle it.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk - I just hate musical websites, and I couldn't resist a Triumph reference.

Hey Beef, I heard about this new invention. They call it a volume knob. It allows you to turn the volume up down or even off. Maybe your place of work could look into it.

I'm with Beefmaster, there is no way I would put a looping RBI midi on my site.  Those things are the spawn of Satan (or Jesus if you work on the other side).  You can also be sure there will be no scrolling text, flash animations, instrustive javascript, pop-ups, adverts of any sorts, click-through menus, random windows to take a survey, animated gifs, maze-like FRAMES, graphical backgrounds in tile mode, etc etc etc

Four hours straight?!  FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT?!?!  Oh please spare me...  Anyone at the Second R.B.I. Baseball Championship of the Universe Tournament had to deal with 3 freakin' straight days of that midi music.

Please don't misunderstand me... I love the game, everything about the game including the music.  Anyone who talks about changing even the smallest aspect of the game musn't love it as much as I.  But that music has caused me to play a grand total of 12 games over the past 11 1/2 months (since the tournament).

For some reason I downloaded one of the riffs from RBI and looped it at work for awhile.  Before I knew it I had listened to the "runner on base" riff for 2 HOURS....fucking crazy but I think I did some of my best work in that span.  Work sucks.

Again I will defend the brilliant composition that is RBI music.  Also, I will ask - What the heck is up with this rash of replies to ancient posts lately.  It is weird deja vu and must stop.
