Oooooooh... I live in Rochester, 70 miles from the Twin Cities, so I wouldn't even have to worry about shipping; I'd just need to borrow a pickup.  Of course, the odds I could talk my wife into this are roughly nil, but I can dream.  It's too bad this wasn't online when I formulated my Christmas list, or I might have had a shot.

I was born in Rochester NY.  We call it The Rock.  Same for Minnesota?

Rochester is pretty cold in general, but we've had really mild winters in the 2 1/2 years I've been here.  The worst part for me is the humidity in the summer; I grew up in western SD, where it's very dry, and here it's incredibly humid.  Also, the mosquitoes are the size of mature dogs.

My question is has anyone ever moved these things how heavy is it, what other precautions would I need to take?  I'll probably be able to borrow a van or a suburban.

Beef is in Rochester Minny and I'm from Rochester NY.  The garbage plates are only in The Rock NY.  I haven't been back to try one yet.  I'm patiently waiting.  A new friend of mine at work recently moved here from The Rock.  We always get beers after work but he says if we were in Rochester we'd be getting beers and a garbage plate every night.  Did I or anyone else ever put up a link to the garbage plate website?

ultimate...it's not too heavy, but definitely take a dolly--that makes it so much easier.  it's also a ton easier with two people, but it's doable with one person and a dolly.

We drove from Ohio to NYC to pick one up this summer.  I would definitely say it's a plus to have two people if possible.  Also make sure your vehicle has enough room.  We never imagined that my friend's pickup would be too small but it's an extended cab with a shorter bed.  We had to use rope to tie it in and even though it was pretty secure, it made us a little nervous for a 12 hour drive.

Good point, how tall is the game 5-6 feet?

Well I made the 12 hour round trip yesterday to finally pick this up.  The guy had this thing stored in a garage in SUb zero temps in Minnesota, so I did not plug it in until this morning, and by some miracle it worked.  I'm pretty stoked and I'm trying to get used to the joysticks.

The player 2 joystick sticks quite often, I'm thinking about using something like WD-40 to loosen it up, anyone else, anyone have maintenance hints for the arcade game, I've never had one before and I'm fairly mechanically incompetent.

I believe replacing the joystick is your best bet.  I think they call it a "control panel" in arcade talk...

Yeah, if anyone has any tips it would be wonderful.  The sticks on ours fucking suck.  We basically have to lift up on the stick to make any kind of movement.
