So I saw the rupert thread and thought it would be cool if people posted autographed cards by RBI players. I am willing to pay money for a Fernando Valenzuela autographed card.

Did the guy who had the Tony Pena autograph talking RBI smack ever post it?  Great story but without evidence, it's just that.

it was bumped recently, or the guy who posted it just caeback and made a post.  i don't think he scanned the letter, though.

Well, if memory serves, the note went to his buddy and not to him.

I know I spend my days thinking up schemes to post on random internet boards about autographs from former MLB players.  Oooh, can't wait to hit the N64 Ken Griffey Jr boards!  They'll never believe the mustache ride I got from Jason Robbins.

I have Mike Heath's autograph on a ball that I got off the field at fenway park by falling over the infield fence to reach for it during batting practice.  I may be the only person in the world with this autograph. I always pinch hit him when I played RBI as a kid.  (And still do)!  Also, Wade Boggs refused to sign this ball before I went to get an autograph from Mike Heath.  (It may have been the Yankees hat that I wore into Fenway Park).  I always made sure to strike out boggs when I played my brother in RBI!

in exchange for Boggs' autograph, you should have offered him some chicken, or hair plugs, or told him you could make yourself invisible
