There have been 6 16-0 regular seasons, 4 by SF and 2 by Buf, SF once did it in back to back years, but did not make the SB either year.

Each made it to the SB once, both times they were upset Buf by Was and SF suprisingly by SEA.

There have been 3 0-16 seasons, 2 by NE and 1 by CLEV

I'm very surprised with Seattle, New Orleans, Pitt and Detroit winning Super Bowls.  Those teams are pure crap, especially the Saints.  Steve Walsh, when used by a human player, throws at least two picks a game.

The Saints' return man, Gil Fenerty, is awesome.  I once had 16 kick return TDs with him in one season, then got hurt in the first playoff game (and was replaced by Reuben Mays, who had two more).  My record with any other return man for a season is no more than 5 or 6.  I can't believe you think Seattle is better than the Saints, either - the Seattle defense has no good players, while the Saints have a couple good LBs.  Seattle's RBs are also worse.

Typical Vikings, by the way.  I'm impressed they actually won one Super Bowl.  I'm also surprised by Cleveland's lack of playoff appearances.  When I play, they're often in contention for the AFC Central title (although, admittedly, with a mediocre record; they once won it at 7-9).

The team suprising me the most for their badness is the JETS, they haven't been doing well at all, they are on a decent streak right now, however.

Fenerty is definitely the man.  I love hurting him when playing against the computer.

As far as actual talent goes, you're probably right, the Saints are a better team.  I was thinking more on the level of quality of plays and whatnot.

Sometimes I am bored at work, actually playing is often tough because it is too obvious, however watching is always possible, because I can just minimize for a while.

Nobody notices that you are watching a game of RBI at your work??  Do you listen to the music with headphones???

All this watch talk made me start up a series, and all I've got to say is that the computer does some odd things.  In game 2 of the series, they brought in a reliever to start, and then let him go all 9 innings for the win, giving up 19 runs.  Then, with all 4 pitchers available for game 3, they started the same guy, who promptly gives up 5 in the top of the first.  weird wild stuff.

uh, my computer is having some issues, and i cant open the excel.....did the buccaneers ever win the superbowl?

This thread is not really on the RBI track, but continuing anyhow, in 159th season I just recorded, the Colts just made it to the Super Bowl, none of the other Terrible teams (NE,Clev,Atl,TB,Phx) have made it to a SB yet, but I Clev and Atl have made the Conf Champ games

I hadn't looked at this spreadsheet in a long time.  Looks like I did 202 season, but for the first 2 I didn't track W-L records.  I did a lot of manipulation to rank the teams based on results and strength of schedule.  At this point I can't remember how I did everything but if you have questions I can try to remember what I did.
