Which 2 RBIers were high school teammates?

Hint, 1 NES and 1 Arcade.

Stan Musial and Potsie's Grandma?  They were classmates, though I'm not sure Potsie's grandma made varsity...

Hmmmm, that's a good one. I can't think of the answer!

The answer is:

Daryl Strawberry and Chris Brown

That was a tough one.  Shit, I had to go to baseballreference and see what team Brown played for.  I didn't even remember him in the arcade!

GDavis

How the hell did Chris Brown make the all-time Giants team?  I'm sure they've had a ton of better 3Bs.  Brown's stats are pitiful.

Gantry

Good question, I think the arcade purposely put an active player or two from the current season on each team.  Deserving or not...

The biggest question is why the fuck did they pick the expansion Astros on an all-time game?

ultimate7

I've actually looked and the Giants really haven't had many great 3B, although there are certainly a couple that you could make strong arguments for belonging ahead of Brown.

I remember when I first got the Arcade and played against the Giants, and I realized by process of elimination that Brown was the 3B.  I then realized it was Chris Brown who I only vaguely remembered.

It should have been Freddie Lidstrom, 1930, .379 22 HR, but other than that there are no clear cut better 3B seasons for the Giants.

All of Evans' best years were as a 1B.

I imagine the makers were trying to get as many known, hence recent players on teams as possible.

I can honestly say I had no idea who Chris Brown was when you revealed the answer.  If I didn't know it was an RBI question I would have sworn I've never heard that player before.  Looks like it's time to play some more arcade...

Who's Chris Brown?

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?
