How Jay-Z must play RBI....

Over the Thanksgiving holiday we hooked up the RBI to what_foul_pole?'s 60 inch plasma tv in his parents house, it was amzing with the surround sound.

Surpisingly though, it seems that the 8 bit didn't go well with the plasma and there was an odd delay on each play that made it difficult to hit.

Widescreen mode makes them boys even fatter than they are!  Nice pics.  I know there's a small delay that makes gaming a problem on some types of HD TVs.  Some are now adding a 'gaming' mode that cuts the delay to something less noticeable.  I think it's on the Toshibas.  


I have a 60" non-widescreen TV and RBI looked a little weird blown up that big.  Still was great, however.

whenever i have played rbi on bigscreen it is almost unnatural.  even my 36" wega is too big.  i think the thing is meant to be played on a 19" circa 1985.  that's probably what the founders of the tengen league were thinking.

Nothing bigger than a 27" for a RBI.  I think this has been established.
