Fantasy RBI Baseball League MVP and Cy Young Awards

It is with great pride that I announce that Andre Dawson has been named as the Fantasy RBI Baseball League MVP for the 2004-2005 season. The Hawk lead the league in batting average and runs, was second in slugging, fourth in RBI and fifth in HRs.

I'm also pleased to announce that Dwight Gooden has been named the unanimous winner of the Fantasy RBI Baseball League Cy Young Award. Gooden compiled a 7-2 records while leading the league with 12 strikeouts and finishing second in the league with an 11.94 ERA.  His teammate Doyle Alexander, who led the league in ERA with a 9.44 mark, finished second.

I was one of the two votes for Jorge. He was a one-man wrecking crew for The OC, and really delivered when he needed to. Plus, his supporting cast was much weaker than Dawson's.
