Who will be the last remaining RBIer in MLB?

John Franco
Julio Franco
Roger Clemens
Benito Santiago

Craig341

So, now that Galarraga quit, we're down to 4. If the last two retire in the same offseason, we'll count the one that retired later. :)

This is an incredibly original idea.

You deserve a quarter or possibly a fiddy cent piece.

Gantry

Hey, with one more gone you have to get a fresh perspective.  I can't believe there are only four left...

makes me feel a little on the old side :D

My choice is still Julio Franco.
I've been swimming in raw sewage ... I love it

Gerlost

Julio says he'll play til he's 50.  So I believe him.

fknmclane

Too bad he's already 50.

I'd say this one is gonna be between Julio and Benito, the two men that look super old and haggard but are still "young."

Clemens will be done soon, especially when the Astros suck and they trade him to the Yanks and he wins another ring.

Franco has been done for a while.  He's fairly ineffective.  He's no Orosco, that's for sure.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

Franco took fifteen years off of my life last season, holy fucking christ had he fucked the Mets the past two years, quite a few drunken effigies were burnt in his name, and I hope he dies, absolutely dies...

Nails (??) can back me up on this...

And boy do I not give a fuck that his father was a garbage man and he grew up in the city and went to St. John's, fuck him, fuck him so goddamn much.

I believe he gave up a game clinching home run to ENDY CHAVEZ his first pitch one game last year, I don't think my father had ever heard me curse so much

RedBarron

Hey, John Franco is a human being.

Cut him some slack.

Uhhhh, nevermind.  He's a met. .. . . fuck him with a splintery broom stick.

Ugh, Tony Batista, my bad kids...But, fuck Mike Stanton as well...

One thing I found interesting, is that in his yahoo game log, they changed Montreal to Was...very bad for someone who just had far too many beers and is trying to get some sleep...

Nails

Yeah, John Franco's been in decline for a while now.  Even when his numbers looked good on paper, he was still completely unpredictable and often unreliable.  He's had a shitty spring this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it to the end of the season with the Astros.

I still think Clemens will stay around. He's still good and the Astros will allow him to do what he wants

ultimate7

I think this will be John Franco's last season.

Santiago this season plus maybe 1 more
Clemens this season plus maybe 1 more
Julio who knows.

The Raiders are a successful organization

Nails

I think with Clemens it may depend on how much the Astros are willing to spend on him, and not necessary his own desire to play ball.

Michael Jackson said he's innocent.  So I believe him.

Gerlost

If I read it in the paper, it must be true!

My RBI Baseball Idol is Nikko Smith, because his dad is Ozzie Smith and he looks like Robert Townsend...

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.
