RBI Diamondbacks

I mentioned last week that the DBacks had Bob Brenly as their manager and Al Pedrique as their AAA manager.

I found out today, to my amazement, that Mike Aldrete is the manager of one of their A ball teams.  Unbelievable.  Three managers in one organization, all of whom are former players in RBI.  Maybe that's why they won the Series.

Sadly enough, they haven't quite pulled off the trifecta.  I'm sure Brenly will get another of his old Giants buddies sometime soon.  Maybe Youngblood or even Spielman.  That would be a team to be reckoned with.

One thing that sucks about having the DBacks here is that they got rid of our AAA team.  AAA games are cheaper and usually more fun (as a result of the cheap tickets and cheap beer, cheap laughs ensue.)  They moved the AAA team to Tucson.  And I hate Tucson.
