Yeah, I'll try to get the last two games of Week 2 done and up.

Sorry, the end of last week was kind of crazy at work, and I'm just now recovering from the USC/UCLA game.

Recap:

Chili Davis, Lou Whitaker and George Bell each homered twice to lead The Poopydicks to an impressive 19-6 victory over The Hip Young Popes on Monday at Tengen Stadium in a Fantasy RBI League game that was called after eight innings because to the ten-run mercy rule.

Davis also added two doubles in the lead-off spot for The Poopydicks (2-0) while joining Whitaker in driving in four runs each. Mike Krukow went the distance for The Poopydicks, scattering 12 hits over six innings to get the decision.

Doug DeCinces was again one of the lone bright spots for The Hip Young Popes (0-2) as he hit a homer and doubled. Doyle Anderson was roughed up in the defeat, giving up eight earned runs in four innings of work.

Sure would be nice if my hitters would NOT SWING AT EVERYTHING, like 35 MPH curve balls that are 3 feet off the plate.

Evans' strike out against a dead tired Krukow was certainly a low point. It was almost like they were trying to throw the game.

Recap:

Jeffrey Leonard went 5 for 5 with four doubles, three runs scored and three RBI to lead the South Arkansas Penis to a 17-13 victory over the Frank Tanana All-Stars in an interdivision Fantasy RBI League game played Tuesday at Tengen Stadium.

Eric Davis drove in four as the Penis (2-0) needed a late rally to pull ahead of a plucky Frank Tanana All-Star (1-1) squad. Leonard scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth on a throwing error following a Ryne Sandberg single, and pinch-hitter Denny Walling added insurance with a two-run homer. Donnie Moore picked up the victory with an inning of perfect relief.

Tom Brookens hit two solo home runs for the Frank Tanana All-Stars in the defeat, while Rich Gedman drove in four and scored three runs.
