Basically, some researchers have found evidence linking oral sex to mouth cancer.  They think it's connected to a virus suspected to cause cervical cancer, but it can happen from both cunnilingus and fellatio.

The risk is suspected to be really really small (think - how many people do you know who have mouth cancer?  How many people do you know who have oral sex?).  Also, they collected their data from a survey - from the article, they asked people with a certain kind of oral cancer "Have you had oral sex?"  You'd think that if there was a true link, they'd need to know how much oral sex they were having, whether their partners had any sort of cancer, etc.  In short, it's a typical crap study that gets picked up by the news media (I HATE mainstream science reporting), and it's not going to keep my tongue away from my wife or vice-versa (I hope).

mainstream reporting on anything pretty much sucks.  Things are reported because some editor thinks that that news will sell newspapers, or ad time or whatever.  

I will still being enjoying the oral as will my wife.  We are both really healthy so no worries.
