i gotta say that it will be dicey, me getting to nevin's tonight.  i have to work (albeit only until 2) but getting up to evanston is this weather will be a huge pain in the bungholio...

Anyways, that inspired me to look up used NES places, since Strassy had a whale of a time in B/N.  I found this place, you been Strassy?

i would definitely check that place out.  is sperling coming down to booze it up as well?

it is ironic that you had a dream about that strip mall.  in like 1992/1993, they DID have a place that sold games.  it was pretty kick ass.  some asian guy ran a VHS/video game rental store, and he would sell ANY game that he was renting.  i believe it was $10 for NES, $15 for Genesis, and $20 for SNES. 

if i were old enough to have had a job at that point, i would have been going berserk.  as it was, as soon as i had enough money, i would go there and get a game that had probably just come out, for $15.  my current roommate actually used to do this a lot as well.  i don't remember what i got there, besides for Phantasy Star 3.  for obvious reasons, this guy didn't stay in business very long.

sounds like a plan to me...i am very psyched for this store.  i also have 11 NES games coming via ebay any day now.  with luck, they will arrive today.  i know you want a list of the games, which topic shall i post them in?
