I think I'll start it this week, I was planning on waiting until I wrote some gaming scoring program to track stats, but realize that isn't going to happen and that scoring each game would take too long anyhow.  So I'll just go same format as the NES season with 4 games against each team and I'll post recaps for each group of 5 games, and maybe I'll post video of the best game.

I'll use the ROM we used for the cartridge with BOPs and normal NES gameplay so 10 run rule will apply only after the end of an inning.

TβG

i'll take the redsox.  do you do a playoff series at the end, or just a regular season champion?

Top 3 to playoffs, 2v3 to see who plays 1 in WS

Going with the Yanks - since it's watch season they probably don't use subs.  New York has a stacked lineup and when they do use a sub it'll be Roger Maris.  Teams with their best bench players 3rd and 4th on the list will be in trouble...

Attezz

Atlanta has only two holes in their lineup, Ramirez/Garr, then it's 8 mashers and Adcock on the bench.

It's all about the ATL.

TbT

I want the cardinals....in watch mode anything goes.

Adcock is first off the bench as well, which is huge...  Good pick, though I'm sticking with the Yankees...

RedBarron

fantasy Arcade RBI season, anyone?

Gantry

I'm down like Julie Brown, assuming I have to do none of the work after drafting...

Week 1 Games (The Cincy/St. Louis game is game of the week and movie is attached, summary to come later):

Oak 12 Hou 3
Vida Blue pitched a complete game shutting down Houston's horrible offense.

Atl 14 Bos 4 3 inn
The Braves showed what their offense can do hitting 5 HRs in 3 inning (Murphy, Aaron, Torre, and Matthews(2)) to destroy the RedSox

SF 15 ChC 7
Down 7-5 in the 6th, the Giants scored 10 runs over the next 2 innings thanks to HRs by Cepeda, Mays, McCovey, and Ott.  Jody Davis and Billy Williams homered for the Cubs

LA 12 NYY 11
Ford and Koufax both pitched well as the game was tied at 2 after 4.  A 2 run PH Hr by Maris in the bottom 7th gave the Yanks a 5-4 lead, but a 3 run shot by Guerrero in the 8th put the Dodgers up 8-5, and pulled ahead 12-5 before the Yanks scored 6 with 2 outs in the 9th, capped by a 3 run shot by DiMaggio to make if tight.

Cin 19 SL 17
Tony Perez and George Foster each had 3 run HRs as Cincy recovered from a 4 run first by the Cards taking a 15-7 lead, but St. Louis tied it thanks to A Musial Grand Slam, but a 2 run PH HR by Hank Groh and bad baserunning by the Cards in the 9th were the deciding factors.  Jack Clark had 3 HRs for the Cards.

St Louis is powerful..doing some arcade watch gaming my self and STL is taking it to the Yanks...5-1 thru 5 innings.  Brock, Hornsby, and Musial have all gone yard.

Edit
The cards take it 12-6.  4 homers for each club as hack a jack adds one.  trailing 10-1 the yanks get blasts from gehrig and mantle to have a glimmer of hope in the 7th, but the 8 doubles and 2 triples by STL are too much to overcome.

Game 2.  NY used both starters, but STL still has tudor.  Brock beats out a grounder to shortstop and Hornsby cranks out a 2 run shot in the 1st and the cards are up early again.

In the 4th Ruth and Mantle go yard.  Top 5 and Brock leads off with a triple, and Clark brings him in with a 2 run shot.  all tied up at 4.

Back to back to back shots by Musial, Clark, and Boyer(??) blow the game wide open, and ST louis takes  A 7-4 LEAD INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE 7TH.  Ruth and mantle respond with back to back homers and NY leads 8-7 thru 7.

top 8th Hornsby goes yard again, and STL leads 9-8.  Scoreless bottom for NY.  Mcgee and medwick get PH rbi's and Brock sac fly drives in another.  12-8 heading to the bottom of the 9th.  Rizuto due up.  Gehrig homer is all they get. STL wins 12-9.  Card keep even w/ homers at 6 for the game and 10 for the series.  STL leads 2-0.

Game 3.  Musial shot gives the card 2 runs in the 1st.

didnt watch much of this game but shots my maris and lazzeri pull ny with in 1 the 7th with stl leading 9-8.  However the cards score 3 more and lead 12-8 heading to the bottom of the 8th.  dimmagio homers....STL goes scoreless in the 9th, and holds on for the 12-10 win, and a 3-0 lead.  finally NY outhomers STL (4-2), but the cards rack up more doubles and triples.

Game 4   Yanks use a late power surge to take game 4 12-11.  Game 5. NY is smoking STL 10-5 in the 8th, but a 2 out rally and a 3 run hornsby shot and its 10-9.  back to back double by Musial and Clark tie it up.  STL'sd big 3 have been huge this series.  However a Ruth rbi, and a Mantle 3 run shot seal it for the yanks...14-10.   :(  STL leads 3-2.

Its all fkn over with.  NY leads 17-11 bottom of the 8th in Game 6.  they will win this and game 7 and defeat the lowly birds.  im going to end it all now and go to bed.   >:(

I added the Stl Cincy recap and I guess I just start posting all 5 games at once, I'll only post a video if something significant happens like pitcher HR.
