Bobby Witt:

"A Rangers pitcher was once yanked from a game in the fifth inning for his awful performance -- during a no-hitter, with 10 strikeouts! The rest of the story: Bobby Witt also had 8 walks, 2 runs, and 4 wild pitches."

Jose Canseco:

"Renowned hitter, admitted steroid abuser, erratic right fielder and self-styled ladies' man Jose Canseco won a World Series title with Oakland, before arriving in a blockbuster trade with the Rangers during the 1992 season. On 29 May of the next season (1993), he destroyed his elbow while pitching during the 8th inning of a 15-3 defeat to the Red Sox. The Rangers' stud slugger suffered ripped ligaments and was finished for the season."

Both from: http://www.stormeyes.org/tornado/rangers.htm - There could be more RBI players, but these are one of the two strangest incidents with RBI players.

if he really was in RBI, i think he would have been pretty good.  there's no way they can make him wild, and they probably would have given him a nice fastball.  i remember getting his baseball card the year he walked 140 guys in 143 innings (or something close to that) and thinking how awesome that was.

I got Mike Witt and Bobby Witt confused. Scratch Bobby Witt, he appeared in RBI3, but he's even worse as Mike in real life. 63 total wild pitches in his first five years.

The suspects' files:

http://www.baseball-reference.com/w/wittbo01.shtml - Bob Witt

http://www.baseball-reference.com/w/wittmi01.shtml - Mike Witt

If they are related, then Mike was the better one, and Bob was the terrible one.

But here's a real Hall of Shame entry for the correct Witt, Mike:

Ever since being with the Yankees due to a trade in 1990, Mike's career sharply went downhill. (I need a better description, as it's hard to put into words on how his career crashed)

Wow, it's tough to believe that a guy may get traded while his numbers are already turning to crap, and then continue that trend until he's out of the league.

I found a couple more:

Will Clark:

Made a crucial error for the St. Louis Cardinals during game 2 of the 2000 NLCS which eventually caused them to lose.

Darryl Strawberry: (why does this appear?)

Was banned from the game three times. Doesn't that say enough due to his multiple drug-related incidents?

Dwight Gooden:

Was ejected four batters into the first inning, three batters after a heated altercation with home plate umpire Joe Brinkman during the 1998 ALDS. He gave up a double to then Boston's lead-off hitter Nomar Garciaparra, and argued for ten minutes. At least he wasn't arguing about his cocaine addiction...
