On a note related to the Ryan-Ventura headlock beatdown, just recently heard that a guy who works with my wife had a business dinner with Nolan Ryan in a suite at the Ballpark.  Apparently he was warned ahead of time not to bring up the beating.  I guess Nolan doesn't like to discuss it for some reason.

Another somewhat related side note, knew a guy in college named Ryan Nolan.  Just throwin' that out there.  Parents almost named me Brett George...
