I'm just going through my mind of guys that I can think that could have hit 200+ homers in the 80's.

#41
Here is a list of where RBI'ers fall and I've filled in the correct guesses so far:

1 - Mike Schmidt - 313 homers
2 - Dale Murphy - 308 homers
3 - Eddie Murray - 274 homers
4 - Dwight Evans - 256 homers
5 - Andre Dawson - 250 homers
6 - Darrell Evans - 230 homers
7 - Unnamed RBI'er - 225 homers
8 - Non-RBI'er, but Rack loves his replacement - 225 homers
9 - Arcade RBI'er - 223 homers
10 - Jack Clark - 216 homers  edited to correct Clark's homer total in the 80's

Jack Clark is #10, but Bell doesn't make the list

JoeDirt

Well I already said Mattingly

Mattingly's a no.  There's one RBI'er left that's not been named.

Nope, but getting warmer with that guess

JoeDirt

I do believe Rice was already guessed...

Surprisingly, he's not one of them.  I was wrong about him being in the top 10.  Still, you're getting closer

JoeDirt

My brain hurts.  I can't think of any more power hitters...especially that Don Baylor is close to...

Straw was guessed already, too, right?  Plus, I don't see how he'd be close to Baylor...

Close to Baylor as in relation to team on RBI.  How's that for a clue?

Strawberry and Ripken are both wrong

JoeDirt

well then my next guess (Carter) makes no sense.  I running out of names and I don't wanna consult a roster!

I'm thinking Reggie was guessed, but I can't recall...Ca is close to Bo on the thing...if Reggie is right, I'm gonna be pissed bc I've been regarding him as already guessed.
