Big Apple RBI Champ

The much balley-hooed matchup will happen today at approximately 4pm in Battery Park, NYC, USA.

Rules TBD.

I want GDavis's title.  And I'm gonna take it.

I think he has the NYC title.  He won the last officially sanctioned tournament that I know of, which took place a few years back.  (BlyNoNo was on hand with some of his crew)

When you see GDavis you give him a big hug from me and wish him good luck.

Big Apple RBI Champ

Are you joking or do you really konw GDavis?  I hear Joey Dirt smoked him in Columbus a few years back.

Big Apple RBI Champ

Alright... here is GDavis.

We are playing best of 5- can't take same team twice.  ATG.  1 starter.  I-pod classic rock- no RBI sound.

He wins coin flip to be home team.

I take Boston.

He takes Detroit.

Game 1 results to follow in about 20.

Big Apple RBI Champ

GDavis wins 4-0 with DET over Big Apple RBI Champ's BOS.
Chester 2nd inning 2 out 2 run shot.
5th inning runner at 1st for GDavis.  GDavis thinks 2 outs, sends runner on popup to 2nd baseman- would have been 2 but BOS drops it.  2nd and 3rd.  Gibby 2 run double over outstretched glove of Dewey Evans.

Game 2.

GDavis takes CAL

Big Apple takes SF.

Results in 20.

Don't misuse my Giants. Treat them well and they will do likewise. Where is Spillman hitting? Is Thompson playing? Speir? Aldrete?

The Raiders are a successful organization

Big Apple RBI Champ

GDavis (SF) beats Big Apple (SL) 3-2.
Bases loaded in 3rd for GDavis Brenley.  Count to 1-2.  GDavis stays away from 2 outside tantalizing changeups away then strokes 2 run double to left center.
JClark HR, Pendleton HR.

GDAvis leads 2 games to 1.

GDavis takes NY (deciding to save BOS for Game 5 as Big Apple already used BOS)
Big Appple takes DET

Interesting. Not bad. Spillman for Brenley opened my eyes, but it can work.

I see GDavis just won. The force was with the Giants. Please come back and beat GDavis for me. I wish I can play him and show him how it's done.

GDavis scores 3 in the first and wins 4-1 with NYM over DET.
NYM start out Dykstra Bomb, Wilson IF single, Hernandez bomb.
Alexander pants down.

Great job GDavis, winning 3 games to 1.  He played better than I did.

This one will stick with me.

This is fkn ridiculous.  I'm I to understand that you guys could choose teams that the other guy already used, so long as you have not already used that team?  If so, then I demand an explanation as to why Big A. RBI Champ chose St over Ca in the pivotal game 3?  Fkn amateurs.

Great series BAC.  All 4 games were nail biters.  My Mets are still undefeated in tournament play.

Awful decision by me to take STL, Joey Dirt, no question you are 1000% correct.  I didn't want to complain about that because I don't want to make excuses.  GDavis outplayed me, and deserved to win.  I had stolen a base off GDavis in game 2, and I thought I could run rampant with STL.
