Just paid for the golf. It wound up being $140 with the rental clubs, which was a bit more than I thought. What gives?

whoa whoa whoa. call the guy back. NO WAY yours is that much. you should of been 70 for gofl and 30 for the cheaper callaway clubs. and do me a favor when you call him, verify that he hasn't been charging everyone that much. He might still be trying to charge us for the rental van which we canceled.

Oh dear god..... I just got an email from a crazy friend of mine that he and his crazy group of friends are celebrating another friend of mines bachelor party in Vegas the same weekend.  These guys roll deep with illicits and alcohol abuse, as well as excess stripper celebrations.  We will have to combine forces at some point.

I guess thats okay, I just don't want to lose you to your "other" friends.

I called the guy back up and yes, he was including the transportation (that we've since canceled) in what he told me. However, he was only charging my card $100. I think everything is OK, but people might want to double-check if they have paid and make sure they are only paying $100 if they haven't.

We gonna get all dressed up for steak night?

I'm not sure about that place that Fighton picked out that I think Mike made arrangements at but I'd imagine you should where a shirt with some sort of colllar. Also, we'll be going out for the evening following this so I'd imagine that you will want to be dressed in all your finery when we go to dinner.

Okay, just booked golf and rental clubs.  $100.  How exactly are we getting to the course?

I booked a 12 passenger van from Budget that we (jameybaxter) will go pick up at the airport Saturday morning. we'll have it saturday night as well just incase Mike falls through on his limo-hook-up.

fknmclane

How much do we owe for that?

I almost splurged for the brand new Taylor Made clubs they have but fuck it, I'm not worthy to use clubs that nice.

You've seen me golf, you know how bad I suck but Jamey and I were both like fuck it, I'm never going to own clubs this nice but it's my one chance to play with some really fantastic clubs.

The van is going to be about 12$ a person as apposed to $20 a person + tip for a driver if we had booked it through the golf place (also we wouldn't of been able to keep the van)

I bought my set of golf clubs at Costco for $149, so even the Callaways are a huge step up for me.

My predicted total score for this foursome:  510

Is every attendee golfing with us? Or is it just the dee nee crew?  I'm full of questions (and phlegm) today.

I bought my clubs for $99 at target with the bag. They're a set of wilsons and they really aren't too bad, graphite shafts on the woods, good putter, no complaints.

Everyones in on the golf. We leave no man behind on this weekend. I can't decide if we should try and pair people together skillwise or if we should draw partners for our best-ball tournament. I'd say:

Mike and Jamey= Decent
Rdub, Mclane and J-Train= Not Very Good
The Twins=Some of the worse golf known to man
USC and my buddy Dave= Unknown but most likely bad

fknmclane

Your party, your decision.  If do pair people up skillwise, we should let the shitty players go first so the only people they're holding up happen to be part of our larger group.

well a shitty person will be paired with a less shitty person so all the groups will be sufficiently dragging ass until about the 10th or 11th hole, at which point, you and your partner should be rip-roaring drunk and electing to skip entire holes in favor of chasing the beer cart girl to ask her how gamey her cunt is.

I had the "There is going to be Strippers at your bachelor party isn't there?" talk with the Fiancee. She was not pleased. I told her she had nothing to fear and that she had nothing to be jealous over. That none of us could even afford lap dances anyway. I told her that the strippers will have no interest in us as we are all broke.

I couldn't lie to her and tell her there wouldn't be any strippers.

and thank god she didn't ask me about hookers.

BDawk

What was she expecting? Dinner and go to bed early?

fightonusc

Games of cribbage and maybe some volunteer work down at the Vegas homeless shelter.

Are you never planning on golfing again?  I'm pretty sure you'll have another chance to rent some really fantastic clubs at some other point in your life.
