OK.  That's cool.  I'm calling the concierge tonight to confirm limo and all that good stuff.

remember to push for a second trip in the limo to pick up Dan (the other guy who looks like Nick) at 4pm

2 words: CASINO. ROYALE.

apparently they've bumped up their table minimums but you can still get free booze while you gamble away your money on $1 roullette and $2 craps and $3 Blackjack.

Also connected to a Denny's.

See, this is bonertown, plain and simple.

Another positive about the Casino Royale is that if you order a shot of Jager, it is $3 and it basically is full lowball glass. I passed out at the mini-Craps tables there one night. The Sahara also has very low-limit tables (I believe they still have $2 blackjack) and a great/cheesy lounge with a great/cheesy live band.

And I don't know how people feel about poker, but I know that at several casinos, if you have enough people they will basically open a private poker table up for you. They charge their usual rake (up to $3 per hand), but you don't have to worry about dealing, cashing out money, etc. Just another thought in terms of gaming options.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

I was going to ask the concierge at the Bellagio about private tables for poker and blackjack.

I like the idea of this Casino Royale joint.

I like this idea as well. I'm probably the last person on earth who doesn't know how to play Texas Hold'em but I'd like to learn.

I'll ask my boss more about this as well. He did this with his buddies when they went to Vegas for a bachelor party last year.

for me, keeping in mind that I am the bachelor in the namesake of this thread, the most important factor to having an awesome weekend will be the number of and qualities pertaining to, the stories we will have to take with us on Sunday.

or in short..

It's not what we do in Vegas, it's how we do it.

I think I want to add to the itenirary.

I'm thinking of a casino crawl. It's been years since I've been to Vegas and I want a chance to step inside the doors of a few casinos I've never been to. I'm thinking we could start at one end of the strip and work our way down, stopping at each of the Megahotels for a coctail along the way.

We did this last time I was there on our way to the Sahara (it's a lot farther than it looks.)  Seeing a $0.25 cent beer sign at the Frontier was one of the greatest sights our eyes have ever seen.  EVER.

we are dealing with a limited timeframe on this trip, and 9 dudes trying to get changed, shower, etc in one room, so keep that in mind.

So I'm guessing that the trip to the Hoover Dam is out?

Also, should I not bring my bath gels?

Also, it's going to be 72 this weekend. It might not be a bad idea to pack a pair of swim trunks in case you feel like heading out to the pool to enjoy a margarita and while checking out the 16 year-old girls in their slutty bikinis.

you're right, I don't want anything to cut into Mclane's family brunch.

Mike D.

Bah! You beat me to it.

Anyway, I too would like to do everything that Vegas has to offer, but we do only have about 40 hours in town, and I plan on sleeping at least some of it.
