I think chat is broken

The button keeps flashing even though no one's in there, it doesn't seem to be registering when a person leaves chat, so they're only removed from chat when someone else signs in.

I do plan to do this, but it (with other changes) will come next week when Gantry gets the new server up and running. No major changes until we're on the new software.
