off topic:  how did you guys handle there not being a seattle mariner on the rbi AL all-star roster?  just curious, since i assume all you guys grew up there in WA.

league format is anything goes. i'm guessing that mscott, nolan, and kerfeld should combine for about 8 shutouts this season.

there actually wasn't much of a problem in determining teams. everyone pretty much got who they wanted. the last two teams (boston and california) went to a couple noobs. personally, i think that the teams are all pretty close to even if you play the format we are playing, with houston being a notch above the rest of course.

when ever we'd put on a Tecmo league, id always hate it when the noobs/scrubs would get the good teams...moreso cause those teams desrve to kick ass, but cant in the hands of the imcompetent.

Phil reporting here from the Ellensburg local RBI league.  Three more league games taken care of tonight. 

I can vouch for Houston being one of the best teams in the game or at least a contender.  I personally believe all the teams are pretty even throughout the game if you're playing anything goes.
