Krukow vs Reuschel

Who's better? 

This debate has come up because my league is drafting and there is a lot of buzz about these pitchers.  A lot of owners seem to like that Reuschel can curve both ways and come in on right-handed batters while Krukow isn't that great against righties?

Agreed.  It isn't even close.  I'm a big fan of Big Daddy but Krukow's curve and drop is just too hard to top. He's one of my favorite pitchers. It's shame he isn't a lefty.  And that he isn't Tudor.

Aren't Krukow and Valenzuela essentially the same player?

I know they both throw with opposite hands, but does that effect their curve?

i think krukows best pitch starts outside and curves in (sometimes curving back out), and valenzuelas best pitch starts inside and curves out

Krukow takes mastery, because I over-curve the fuck out of pitches when I use him.  Often results in meatballs and hitting the batters.  I lack skill and therefore would rather pitch with Big Daddy with my life on the line.  If I was skilled at curve, then Krukow by a longshot...

I would pick at least a dozen Starting pitchers before Reuschel.

I voted for Krukow, but currently, in our Spring Training (Ellensburg RBI league), I'm loving how Reuschel can come inside on right handers when he's TV Right and Krukow can't.  I think Reuschel is the better of the two when facing righties.

I love Reuschel and I think he is a top 4 pitcher in the game. He has sick movement that can be harnessed.

Bigdaddy, Krukow, Tudor, and Ojeda is my top four....Reuschel is better against lefties, and Krukow is better against righties...imo.
