Congrats Nomaaa.  Dee-Nee's new Sandwich King.

Mr. Blubbo

Interesting strategy to have a lefty pitcher Nomaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.  You sure you don't want to re-think that?
Here's your ball!

nomaaa

in my playing, i always thought it was harder to hit a righty as a lefty, and vice versa.
most players seem to be righty batters, and the big hitters like ruth, bonds, etc. i don't think it matters what hand they pitch with.

am i wrong? i'd honestly like to know.

Mr. Blubbo

If the pitcher is righty it is equally easy for a righty batter or a lefty batter.
If the pitcher is lefty it is much easier for a righty and a little more difficult for a lefty but only if the pitcher stays on away on the hitter.  But this isn't straight pitch so I guess it really doesn't matter.  I would guess most teams will have righty pitchers.  No crime in being different.  Who knows perhaps it will benefit you.
Here's your ball!

nomaaa

thanks. i'll give it a try though.

if i see a noticable difference in my ra, then ill change, prob.

I believe its really slow pitching anyway, so unless Stock sucks I doubt it will matter if you have a southpaw.

What did Wagner do to piss you off.
That's quite a demotion.

I said it once and I'll say it again - stock is smart

Nacho

I figure it is better to go with power at the top of the lineup, and speed at the bottom.  I figure if Wagner pulls a lot of grounders, he can get a lot of IF hits.  With him on first, pull with Collins (though Pettis if noone is on), and Wagner can probably score from first if it is hit in a gap or down the line.  I expect a lot of triples from Collins.

Stock....have you ever played a game with guys that have 155+ speed?  Is everything hit on the ground (not to the pitcher) more or less an automatic single at the very least?  I went with the strategy of drafting a couple of guys with 155 speed but absolutely shitty power under the theory that they will never hit it hard enough to get it thrown out.  Hopefully this works or I just wasted 2 picks.

Somebody should have taken the 15 minutes to try it themselves...
