Big Hath

yeah, big thanks for putting this together

one thing on the Stats tab - looks like you've got all the sort macros starting at row 5, but the actual stats start at row 4 (the ScrollRow also stops at 5)
Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

AlecTrevylan006

HOLY SHIT.

I... did I get a series win?

And yeah man, thanks for this, I'm fully aware how ridiculously tiresome and hard work this is, and just wanted you to know I'm thankful :-)

Week 8
Attezz vs BigHath
Game 1; An 11 run 1st for BigHath ends it.  Led by a 3-run HR from Gordon and HRs from BobbyBo and Thome.
Game 2; BH started out slow until putting up 21 runs in the top of the 4th.  That was more than enough.  BobbyBo and Killibrew were 5-5 (HR) each.  Greg Vaughn added a GS.
Series MVP goes to Bobby Bonds; 7-7, 2HRs, 3 2Bs, 6 RBIs.  Killebrew also batted 1.000 in the series.
LVP goes to Robin Yount; batting only .250 in the series loss.
Don't blame... The Babe; 4-4, HR, 4 RBIs in series loss.

McLane vs Fighton
Game 1; was close all the way thru.  Mantle tore it up for McLane (7-7, 2HRs, 5 RBIs).  Frank Thomas had a GS despite going only 1-6 in his other Abs.  Pujols had 2HRs and 7 RBIs for Fighton.  The game was tied going into the bottom of the ninth when Brett quickly ended it with a solo HR.
Game 2; goes all the way to the 9th (again), and the same result.  Despite McLane's Gorman Thomas going 8-8, 5HRs, 10 RBIs, they fall 1 run short.  Pujols had a 3-HR game for Fighton.  Kent/Brett had 3 doubles each, and Nomar had a multi-HR game.
Series MVP goes to Pujols; 11-14, 5HRs, 13 RBIs in series sweep.
LVP goes to Uribe who batted .231 and was the only player (on either team) w/o an RBI in the series.
Don't blame.... Gorman Thomas; 13-15, 6 HRs, 12 RBIs in series loss.

Nomaaa vs GDavis
Game 1; Nomaaa was up by a 10+ margin going into the bottom half of every inning after the 3rd.  Gdavis was able to score just enough runs to hang around, but never closed the gap.  Nomaaa finally ended it in the 8th inning, led by a 7-8, 2HR performance from Ramirez.  Boone had a 3HR game as well.  GDavis fell short despite a 3HR game from Fielder and a GS from Sauer.
Game 2; Gdavis got the early lead and stuck to it.  Horner led the charge with a 7-7, 4HR, 8RBI game.  Aaron and Canseco had 3 HRs each.  Cruz had 3 triples.  For Nomaaa, Scheffield with 6-6 (GS) in the losing effort.
Series MVP goes to Horner; 11-13, 4HRs, 2 2Bs, 9 RBIs.
LVP goes to Tejada; .417 series average (lowest of both teams).

Ultimate vs AlecTrevylan
Game 1; Had glimmers of hope for AlecTrevylan when Burks/Ordonez combined 5-5 (5HRs), but the rest of the team went 6-19 with only 4 RBIs.  Ultimate put up at least 3 runs every inning led by a monster game from Soriano; 5-5, 3HRs, 3B, 2B, 5 RBIs.  McCovey also had 3HRs and went 5-5.  Stargel with 4-5 (3HRs).
Game 2 started out much better for AlecT, scoring 9-2-12 runs in the first 3 innings.  However, Ultimate gave it right back with a 15 & 13 run 3rd & 4th inning.  Glaus and Bench each had 3HRs in the losing effort.  Stargel & Hundley combined 11-11 (despite no HRs).  McCovey had 3HRs, and Soriano went 5-6, 2HRs, 8 RBIs in the win.

LVP goes to Willie Mays; batted only .250 from the 3-spot, and was the only player on either team w/o an RBI.
Don't blame... Burks; 7-8, 5HRs, 7 RBIs in the series loss.

Beefmaster vs Shooty
Game 1; There was 100 runs scored and 38 HRs in this game, and it would go down to the bottom of the 9th.  Despite grounding into 2 DPs, Sosa is the hero ending it with a walk-off Grand Slam, in an inning where Shooty was down 49-40 going into the bottom of the 9th.  Shooty's Sexson went 9-9, HR, 3 RBIs (the only player who batted 1.000 in the series.  Sosa, Williams, Justice, and Parrish had 3 HRs each for Shooty.  For Beef, Campanela and Conigliaro had 5HRs each.  Bonds and Frank Robinson had 3 HRs each.
Game 2; Shooty started out where he left off in game 1 scoring 4-6-14 runs in the first 3 innings.  Beef had HRs from Allen, Bonds, Campanela, and Stephens in 3 innings, but was not enough.  For Shooty, Sosa went 4-4, HR, 4 RBIs.  Greenberg went 4-4, 2HRs (GS), 6 RBIs.

Rack vs Nacho
Game 1; Rack scores 6-8 in the first 2 innings and that is more than Nacho can handle (despite a 3-run HR from Arod).  Belle led the way; 3-3, 2HRs, 4 RBIs.  Jeter was 3-3, HR, 3B.  Kiner/Klein/Bagwell combined 7-7 w/ a HR each.
Game 2; Nacho started scoring more runs and held Rack in check.  The big inning that ended it was the 6th, when Nacho outscored Rack 13-2.  AROD had huge game; 7-7, 2HRs, 2 2Bs, 10 RBIs.  Guerrero went 6-7, 4HRs, 2 2Bs, 8 RBIs.  Despite Rack's loss, Bagwell went 4-4, 2HRs (GS), 5 RBIs.

Ryno vs Gantry
Game 1 was close the whole way.  Ryno fell 1 run short in the top of the 9th.  Eric Davis, Sandberg, Rice, & Ripken all had multi-HR games for Ryno.  For Gantry, Reggie had a 3-HR game.  Matthews, Giambi, Mize, HoJo, & York all had 2-HR games.  Deshields had 2 triples.
Game 2; Gantry could never get it going.  Ted Williams/Reggie Jackson combined 2-10 (0 RBIs).  Although, Ryno didn't have a spectacular game he was able to win it in the 7th.  Rice led the way; 5-5, 3HRs, 7 RBIs.
Series MVP goes to Jim Rice; 11-12, 5HRs, 10 RBIs.
LVP goes to Mize.  Despite 3HRs, and 7 RBIs he only batted .333 (lowest avg on either team).

Stock vs Weathermatt
Game 1; Was all Stock, putting up 19 runs in the first 2 innings.  Griffey and Mo Vaughn were both 3-3 with 2 HRs each.  Ott was 2-3 (GS).  Morgan also had 2 HRs.
Game 2; Despite putting up 38 runs, Weathermatt comes ontop.  McGwire had 5HRs and Batista had 4HRs (combining for 21 RBIs).
Series MVP goes to Mo Vaughn; 9-11, 5HRs, 2B, 11 RBIs.  McGwire also had 5HRs with 11 RBIs.

Week 9

Attezz vs Ultimate
Game 1; Attezz started out strong putting up 6 runs in the 1st inning.  He then topped that in the 2nd inning with 7 runs.  Despite Ultimate leading off the game with back-to-back HRs, he was only able to scrap 1 more run total.  Attezz wins his 3rd game of the season agains first place Ultimate.  Coleman was 3-3 (all singles).  The Babe was 3-3, HR.  Cobb/Chance/Stahl combined 5-7, 3 triples.
Game 2; Attezz started out hot (again) putting up 5 runs in the first.  Konerko had a perfect 3-3, 3HR, 8 RBI game.  However, Ultimate consistently put up 4 to 8 runs every inning and finally ended it in the 4th.  Mitchell had a GS, and Snider was 4-4, 2HRs.
Game 3; Attezz starts out great (as would be the pattern in this series), and even had a lead of 22-10 going into the bottom of the 5th.  However, Ultimate would get it going scoring 6-3-13 runs in the 5th, 6th, & 7th innings.  In the meantime Attezz puts up doughnuts in the 6th & 7th making Soriano's 2-run HR in the 7th a walkoff.  Stargel also added a GS for Ultimate.
Series MVP goes to McCovey; 9-10, 2HRs, 2 2Bs, 9 RBIs in series win.
LVP goes to Coleman; batting .417 (lowest in the series).
Don't blame... The Babe; 11-12, 3HRs, 8 RBIs.

McLane vs Nomaaa
Game 1; was not known for its offense.  Neither team scored more than 6 runs in an inning in all 8 innings.  Tejada had a huge game for Nomaaa (6-6, 3HRs) which led them to getting the victory in 8 innings.  McGriff also had 3HRs and Crawford went 6-6 (2 triples) from the 9-hole.  Sheffield/Ramirez had 2HRs each.  Nobody had a multi HR game for McLane.
Game 2; was similar in offense to game 1.  Other than a couple glimpses of great offense (ie.. Murphy/Boone with 2HRs each for Nomaaa and a GS from Frank Thomas), no team really took off.  Nomaaa scores 24 runs in 8 innings for the second game in a row, and is enough to win both games.
Game 3; McLane finally got some offense going and put up 21 runs in 4 innings, led by a near perfect game from David Ortiz (4-4, 3HRs, 8 RBIs).  Mantle/Palmer also had multi HR games.  This was enough to put away Nomaaa and preventing the sweep.  Boone's 0-3 performance did not help matters.
Series MVP goes to Dale Murphy; 12-15, 4 HRs, 8 RBIs.
LVP goes to Tettleton; 6-16, 4 RBIs in series loss.  Besides Frank Thomas' GS in game 1, he was only 6-15 w/ 2RBIs from the 3-spot.
Don't blame... David Ortiz who had 5HRs and 13 RBIs in the series loss.

Fighton vs BigHath
Game 1 was short and simple.  Fighton could only come up with 1 run in the first 2 innings.  BigHath took advantage led by a 2-2, 2HR, 5 RBI game for Killebrew.  Dickey ended it with a 2-run walk-off HR.
Game 2, Fighton did a little better led by and awesome 4-4, 3HR, 6RBI performance from Jeff Kent. However, BigHath performed better as well, putting up 24 runs in 5 innings.  Thome went 5-5, 2HRs, 2 2Bs, 7 RBIs, and Greg Vaughn got the walk-off solo shot to end the game in the bottom of the 5th.
Game 3; Fighton finally started hot and staid hot, putting up 26 runs in 3 innings.  Pujols was 4-4, 2HRs, 2B, 4 RBIs.  Nomar drove in 8 runs with 2HRs.  Aramis Ramirez had a 3HR game with 6 RBIs.  BigHath didn't play poorly (15 runs in 3 innings), but was not enough to hang in there.  Burkman, Thome, Greg Vaughn, & Dickey combined 11-11, 4HRs, 11 RBIs.
Series MVP goes to Jim Thome; .900 BA, 2HRs, 2 2Bs, 9 RBIs.
LVP goes to Howard; only batted .375 in the series loss.
Don't blame ... Jeff Kent; 8-10, 3HRs, 7 RBIs in series loss.

GDavis vs AlecTrevylan
Game 1; was all Davis.  Canseco & Horner were both 3-3 w/ 2HRs.  Posada had 2HRs.  Delgado was 3-3 (HR).
Game 2; GDavis was not nearly as strong as in game 1, and was down 17-19 going into the 7th.  However, Gdavis scored 12 runs in the top of the 7th and was enough to eek out a 33-29 victory.  Delgado was 7-8 (HR), 7 RBIs.  AlecT had 4 guys with multi-HR games (vs 0 from GDavis), but was still not enough.
Game 3; AlecT quickly avoided the sweep 5-15 in 2 innings.  Alec put up 12 runs in the 1st led by a Glaus GS.  Then Robinson put it away with a 3-run HR in the bottom of the 2nd.
Series MVP goes to Carlos Delgado; 11-13, 2HRs, 11 RBIs.
LVP goes to Bench.  Batted .455 (lowest in the series for either team), 0 HRs, only 1 RBI and a GIDP.
Don't blame... Troy Glaus; 9-10, 4HRs (GS), 10 RBIs in series loss.  Robinson also hit 3HRs and drove in 14 RBIs from the 9-spot in the series loss.

Beefmaster vs Stock
Game 1 had a little bit of offense.  In fact, we almost had our 2nd 100+ game of the season. For Beef, Allen, Bonds, and Campanela all had a Grand Slam.  Bonds was 9-10, 6HRs, 15 RBIs.  Allen, Robinson, Stuart, and Campanela all had multi HR games.  For Stock, Griffey hit 2 Grand Slams in the 8th inning.  Helton had 4HRs, Mo Vaughn had 3HRs, Morgan, Piazza, and Fryman had 2HRs.  The score was 51-46 going into the bottom of the ninth.  However, Stock's guys could only muster 1 single in 4 ABs.
Game 2; started right where game 1 left off.  Beef put up 15 runs in the first and Stock followed with 18 runs in the bottom of the first.  However, Beef put up 15 more runs in the 2nd inning.  Stock finally could not keep pace and could only scrounge up 1 run in the bottom.  For Beef, Bonds had 3HRs (incl another GS).  Hornsby, Frank Robinson, and Zernial also had mult-HR games in the 2 inning affair.  Piazza was 3-3, 3HRs in Stock's losing battle.
Game 3; Beef finally cooled down, only scoring 1 run in the first.  Stock quickly took advantage as Griffey ended it with his 2nd 3-run HR of the inning.  Morgan also had a 3-run HR.
Series MVP goes to Barry Bonds; 13-15, 9HRs (2 grand slams), 22 RBIs.  This may be the best series performance of the year so far!
LVP goes to... Rickey Henderson.  Only player on either team w/o a HR.  Stock scored 76 runs in the series, and Henderson only drove in 1 of them.
Don't blame.. Griffey; 10-14, 6HRs (2 grand slams), 17 RBIs.  Piazza also did well; .923 avg with 5HRs.  Ott batted .857.

Rack vs Ryno
Game 1 was close for a while until Rack put up 5 & 11 runs in the 4th and 5th.  Ryno could not come away with any runs in the bottom of the 5th to stay in the game.  For Rack, Kiner was 5-5, 2HRs, 4 RBIs.  Foxx, Chipper, Klein, & IROD had 2-HR games, and Bagwell added a GS.
Game 2; Ryno scored 3 runs in each of the first 3 innings.  However, that wasn't enough down 20-6 going into the bottom of the 3rd.  Rack's Belle went 4-4, 2HRs, 2B, 5 RBIs.  Klein/IROD combined 6-6 w/ a HR each.
Game 3; Ryno fell asleep and could not score a single run in the first 2 innings.  Rice topped it off nicely by ending the 2nd with a GIDP.  Rack, on the other hand, was wide awake, scoring 17 runs in 2 innings.  Jeter/Belle/Foxx combined 9-9, HR, 3B, 3 2Bs, 9 RBIs.  Chipper Jones added 2 HRs.
Series MVP goes to Belle; 10-12, 2 2Bs, 3B, 3HRs, 12 RBIs in the series sweep.  Bagwell also drove in 12 runs despite batting only .636.
LVP goes to Eric Davis; batted only .250 w/ 0 RBIs from the leadoff spot.
Don't blame... Raffy Palmiero; 8-8 in the series loss.

Nacho vs Shooty
Game 1; Nacho kept the pressure on all the way to the 9th, led by 5 HRs from Guererro and 3 HRs from Andruw Jones & Maris.
Game 2, Nacho stays hot and puts up 14 runs in the 1st.  In the bottom, Sosa GIDP to end it.  Dimaggio, Guererro, & Jones all hit HRs for Nacho.  Wagner was 2-2 w/ 2 2-run triples.
Game 3 was a lot like game 2.  Nacho put up a bunch of runs early on, and Shooty could not respond.  Guererro hit 2 more HRs and AROD hit a GS for Nacho.
Series MVP goes to Vlad Guererro; 10-13, 8HRs, 17 RBIs.
LVP goes to Womack; 4-10 from the leadoff spot.
Don't blame... Edmonds; 8-10, 4HRs, 5 RBIs in series loss.

Gantry vs Weathermatt
Game 1; Gantry started and ended hot; scoring 9-8 runs in the 1st & 2nd, and then 14 runs in the 6th.  Dunn was 7-7, HR, 5 RBIs.  DeShields had 3 triples.  For Weathermatt, Javy Lopez was 6-6, 2HRs, and Big Mac had 3 HRs in a losing effort.
Game 2; Gantry scored 4 runs in the 1st, but wasn't enough for the 14 runs Weathermatt put up in the bottom half.  Sanders, Mac, Gonzo, and Lopez were all 2-2 w/ a HR.
Game 3; was neck to neck until the 7th.  Mize had a 3HR game for Gantry while Jackson and Matthews had 2HR games.  However, McGwire had a 5HR game for Weathermatt, Batista had 4 doubles and a HR.  Lopez capped off the 12-run 7th inning with a 2 run walkoff (his second of the game).  Kingman and Juan Gone also had a 2HR game.
Series MVP goes to Mark McGwire; 12-14, 9HRs, 17 RBIs.  Despite 0 HRs and only 3 RBIs, Deer was also 12-14.  Lopez had 5HRs and 14 RBIs in the series.
LVP goes to Ted Williams; only 6-14 from the leadoff spot.
Don't blame... Reggie Jackson; 11-14, 3HRs, 2 2Bs, 8 RBIs in the losing effort.  Dunn also bated .786.

Week 10

Attezz vs Rack
Game 1; As usual, Babe Ruth did everything in his power to get a win going 3-3, 3HRs (GS), 9 RBIs in 3 innings.  However, Rack just continued to put up a half dozen or more runs every inning and finished it in 3.  Belle was 4-4, 2HRs, 4 RBIs.  Klein was 4-4, HR, 2B, 7 RBIs.
Game 2; Attezz had a hell of a game, scoring 41 runs in 9 innings.  Ruth was 7-8, 5HRs, 12 RBIs.  Konerko had 3HRs.  Yount was 8-8, 2HRs, 2 2Bs.  Chance had 3 triples.  However, Rack continued to score runs all the way to the end and put up 50 runs thru 9 innings.  Klein tore it up, going 8-8, 5HRs, 10 RBIs.  Chipper Jones had 4HRs.  Jeter and Belle had 3 HRs.
Series MVP goes to Klein; 12-12, 6HRs, 17 RBIs.
LVP goes to Samuel; 1-11 in series loss.
Don't blame.... Babe Ruth; 10-11, 8HRs, 21 RBIs.

McLane vs Ryno
Game 1; McLane outslugs Ryno in 9 innings.  Colavito led the charge; 8-8, 3HRs, 10 RBIs.  David Ortiz also added 3HRs.  Ryno never really got anything going, and was just surviving every inning past the 3rd.  Schmidt had a 4HR game, but Sandberg, Ripken, and Carter were rather cold.
Game 2; Ryno looked like he was going to finish things early, putting up 12 runs in the 1st inning.  However, only 3 more runs were scored in the next 3 innings, and that was plenty of time for McLane to come back and end it.  Alomar was 5-5, 2HRs (walkoff), 4 RBIs.  Uribe was 4-4, 2HRs, 2B, 6 RBIs.  Palmer and Thomas also added 2HRs each.
Series MVP goes to Colavito; 11-12, 3HRs, 2 2Bs, 11 RBIs.
LVP goes to Gary Carter; at .444; lowest BA in the series.

Not really.
He is still outperforming (IMO) 6 shortstops in our league (including Garciaparra - Fighton's 2nd pick overall).

Wagner is also outperforming 2/3 of Atezz's lineup.
