I picked this gem up for 20 cents today at some booth that was set up in the mall.  I also got a bunch of other 1970s baseball cards there for the same price.  Here's what's on the back, some nice info about Chris Speier as a youth:

Born and raised in Alameda, California, Chris was always a sports fan.  He vividly recalls watching a Dodger-Giant game in 1960 when he was ten years old.  Duke Snider homered for the Dodgers and instantly became Chris' idol.  Some years later the two met while in the Texas League, Chris and a player and Duke as a manager.  When Chris was 11 years old he was faced with a big decision.  He had been playing tournament tennis for several years but all his friends were playing baseball.  Chris decided to forego tennis in favor of baseball.  He started playing baseball at the age of 12, he played exclusively shortstop and has been at that position ever since.  Chris is a veteran of Pony League, Babe Ruth League, and Connie Mack baseball.  He was never the star of his team, in fact he barely made the squads on a number of occasions.  However he always kept trying to improve, and he made himself a better ballplayer.

Why haven't you mentioned this before?  Why isn't he posting?

We had an RBI relative before, maybe Rob Wilfong's nephew?

I was thinking maybe there was a Gary Gaetti relative once.
