I'm a mover...  I'm always hitting while moving in a direction.  I was wondering what other people do, and if anyone has looked at the 1's and 0's in the background to see if moving while hitting actually affects anything (power, contact, ground ball/flyball/line drive).

This is also more of a question for people who play curve.  I can't imagine people playing straight pitch move a whole lot.

anyone ever notice that if you drop a deuce on someones windshield in sub-freezing temperatures, its pretty damn hard to get off once it freezes.

i know this has been discussed before, and i'm sure the only calculation is performed when the bat actually hits the ball and at what position the ball is on the bat.

nightwulf or ult7 might have more clarification or links.

the one thing that i'm sure you know is that it certainly helps to move your guy into better position to get the sweet spot of the bat on the ball.

I'll of course move left and right because to not do so is beyond stupid, but I damn near never move up and down in the box.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

OK, obviously you have to move some to get to the ball.

What I'm asking is more...  do you follow through with the move?  Does it go right into the hit, or do you find a spot, stay for a second, then hit?

If the pitcher is spent to the point where there's little lateral movement, I'll start at the front and then go back as I start to swing. This only applies with Matt Nokes though, any other hitter it's just the occasional lateral movement.
