Hey Darky --- thanks for doing the stats.  I've been lazy and or otherwise busy the past week or so (incredibly humiliating pics and videos will eventually follow).

It's good karma from playing RBI with Briznock.

Hey Darky --- thanks for doing the stats.  I've been lazy and or otherwise busy the past week or so (incredibly humiliating pics and videos will eventually follow).

No problem. I'm still not done with all the stats...like hits and HR's given up by the pitchers. I still need to go back and register all of them from weeks 7-11. I also need to double check the Empire's pitching stats...there were some discrepancies when you put out the stats through week 8 and with my stats through week 6 and after I went back and looked at weeks 7-8. Stats can be easy to fuck up. Not putting any blame here.

It takes time doing all this shit, especially when I do it really slowly to make sure I don't fuck up something.

I still want to double check all the stats for all the position players. I can do that over the span of a week or two. I want shit 100 percent accurate, and I think I made a couple of errors here and there. But it's all close to the mark.

I took away OBP....it really does not matter. I'm not going back to see who reached base on an error and fielders choice....

Schmidt is having a big year...he took a major shit last season for Shooty.

Let me finish up the pitching stats (HR's and Hits given up), then I'll attach the excel sheet for everybody else.

In real life, you don't get OBP for reaching base on a fielder's choice or an error, it counts as 0-1. OBP is basically hits, walks and hit by pitch only.

Darky

Serious? Holy shit, me with all the baseball experience never knew that. Then again, I just play.

In any case, it's still worthless for Fantasy Stats....

Plus you lose OBP for sac flies.

What beef said.

But yeah, no point for us. Due to rarity of walks and sac flies, you can really just use the average in the unlikely event you want to do OPS or something

Here are the stats...

*walks, K's, Hits/against, HR's/against, average/against and W/L/S are not entirely finished. HR's against, was kept up till week 6. I still need to update that. And hits against, K's, BB's were not registered from weeks 7-8.

I may post them here in this thread if I feel up to it. Stats will be released every 2 slates...Ultimate should really be in charge of this...I fell behind due to running 2-3 slates of games a week and getting to things "later". However, Ryno has agreed to also be the other stats-keeper. You may ask him for current stats from now on...if he's up to it.

I also need to double check everything cause there may be a mistake here and there...the official stats should be released by season's end...accurate and triple checked stats that is.

Also, there will be a 2 week break from the season from May 15-30. I'll be in the States playing ball.

Sally Cunts' speed is really paying off with all the triples.

My power uber alles approach does not lend itself to the three bagger.

What if the RBI players in the ROM ponder of intelligent design? lol

And do they think we are Gods? Do they ask the next important question...if we created and designed them, then who created and designed us? And who created the ones who created us? Are we but mere fractals in this convoluted multi-universes?

The Empire is right where we'd thought they would be...by intelligent design. Could use a few more dingers though..

Just as I suspected, Staw is making a very strong case for league MVP.

Darky, what happened to my spread sheet with the formulas?   All I had to do was put the stats such as AB, H, etc and the formulas did all the avg, slg, ERA for players and for teams (on the standings page).

You don't have your spreadsheet? I'm sure I told you that I would be using mine alongside of you using yours? I really needed to keep and update my spreadsheet because it had K's, hit/against and homeruns/against for pitchers. Very important numbers for gaging a pitcher's effectiveness when those numbers are used in relation to innings pitched. I also realized that you don't have access to the full boxscores where I can see exactly what pitcher gave up which HR's.
Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.

Damn, I just realized that I forgot to include a tab for the pinch hitters in my sheet as well as hitting stats for the pitchers.

Here it is...

ryno

Dude, you could have added those categories to what I had.

With mine, all you had to do was input the ABs, 2b, 3b, Hr, R, and RBI.  The sheet calculated 1b, avg, slg for each player.

It also linked team stats to a standings page.

You can zip through stats with it. . . . really cut down on a lot of time.

Darky

Ooops. My sheet can do all those calculations except for linking the players to different tabs. Still don't know that formula and still too lazy to find out.

If I would have added some categories on your sheet, wouldn't it go to shit? Things went to shit on my sheet when I took away some categories.  Arghh...I need to get better acquainted with excel. I took away some categories on the the sheets I attached so I don't know if it works properly if you try to carry on with the stats on that sheet that I attached. I can attach the full sheet if you need it for your sheet.

In any case, there aint no such thing as zipping through stats...lol
