I missed yesterday's shitstorm and I feel a little left out...

When I go back to read the threads in question so much material has been deleted that it's kinda hard to get a handle on how shit went down.

Can we get rid of the option to delete a post/thread?  If someone still feels the need to recant they could still do an edit and just delete all of the text, but there'd still at least be a placeholder to show that a post had in fact been made. 

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I like this ignore feature...I plan to use it during football season in the NFL thread. Total waste of space and my time with some of the dipshits who post verbatim thoughts from whatever website they need to go to get shit figured out or simply share their stupid observations...not you BDawk, but a few others, particularly a Chiefs fan and a Colts fan...and a cricket fan...

Depends what you mean by "in the works" - nightwulf and myself actually spent a decent amount of time on it, mostly updating the main site to use better CSS and be driven by perl instead of static HTML.

The biggest issue is that the software the is used to run the forum (SMF) has been beta testing version 2.0 for literally YEARS.  It was close to being out a year ago minimum, but is still in beta status.  We got tired of waiting and lost all our momentum.

I think embedding videos and an ignore feature (maybe one I force enable for certain people) would be hallmarks of forum version 2.

Can you convert an MVP 2005 .sav file (PC) to a .max file(PS2) for me?

If I had the time to do some research regarding SMF plugins, I'd do so, but if the forum software is old, that might be kind of difficult to find documentation on it.  We shall see if I ever find some time to do this in the upcoming months...some of the features in this thread are cool.

Instead of digg up/down, you could give someone a pow or a nut punch or something. That'd be fantastic.

Of course, this would all be out of charity, considering I don't use the non-RBI part of this site as much (I can't keep up with you people when I'm at work).

But, don't get your hopes up, my time just decreased exponentially with the past few day's events.
