Game 2 now up. It was a great one!

That third inning error almost cost us the game.  That and letting the pitcher bat even though he was taken out in the bottom of the inning.

I especially like the sound of Darky apparently throwing something in anger toward the end of the youtube video.

Cheap win. Sheesh. But a win is a win. We hit into too many double plays. Just killed us.

Sabes pitched good and both bullpens did decent.

It will be nice to win this thing in front of our home crowd. We don't lose at home in the playoffs...

I had a good feeling the Cunts would win it after we scored zero runs in the top of the ninth inning. That play at the end is a killer. Happens 1-2 times every game. I score it a hit btw...then score it as an error when the runners advance. That grounder in between first and second base in which the first baseman charges home plate for no apparent reason, and how the second baseman fields the ball without a fielder at first base to receive the ball is a stupid glitch, but it's a hit.

thoughts on that?

At first I did that, but after seeing how normal it is by all the games I have watched, I score it as a hit. It's not a BOP error and since nobody was covering the bag, it's scored as a hit. The throw makes no difference, only in determining how to score the advancement of runners. The RBI was not an earned run btw...

The runner (Laudner) advanced home on the throwing error. Not because of the hit. He went from second to third on the hit, then advanced home on the throwing error. Corbet will get the hit, but not the RBI.

Sally Cunts prevail in a wild and improbable ending

BOSTON (AP) - With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and with relief pitcher Corbet up with Laudnr on second base, extra innings seemed very likely with the score even at 12.

But extra innings would not be. Corbet hit a ground ball in between first and second base, R.Knight fielded the routine ground ball and threw the ball away as neither the pitcher nor the first baseman got to first base in time to cover the bag.

With the 92,000 fans erupting in a crazed frenzy at Bill Belichick Stadium, T.Laudnr easily advanced from third base on the throwing error and the game was over like that.

K.Mitchl hit a double, a triple and a home run while driving in 3 runners, D.Strwby went 4-5, and B.Madlck hit a 3 run laser that left the ballpark in seconds to lead the Cunt offense.

The Sally Cunts pounded starter D.Cox for 11 runs and jumped out to a 11-4 lead after four innings and seemingly in route to an easy win. But J.Morris limited the Cunts offense and the resilient Empire fought back and eventually tied the game up in the top of the 8th inning. But that would be as close as they would come to victory as they failed to score any runs in the top of the ninth inning.

Empire use great pitching, get good hitting, take game 3

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - Ja.Morris blanked the Sally Cunts through four innings, D.Mtngly hit a pair of homers off Vlnzla to help the Empire jump out to an 8-0 lead, and the Empire never looked back as they captured game three 13-8 in front of a record selling crowd at Imperial Center Stadium.

D.Mtngly and R.Knight hit homeruns in the first inning to give the Empire a 5-0 lead and Ja.Morris pitched a gem through the first four innings and the momentum never changed as the Empire once again used great pitching to limit a very explosive offense. J.Orosco pitched the last two innings and denied the Sally Cunts from stringing any hits together to mount a series comeback.

D.Mtngly went 4-5, belted a pair of shots with 3 RBI's and K.Gibson hit 2 triples and 2 doubles as both sluggers offensively led the way for the Empire.

"Everybody did their jobs, nothing more...nothing less. Today we played our game and dictated" said Darkside from his office after the game.

An angry Nacho summed up his thoughts to the press," That game was the single most pathetic display of patheticism I have ever witnessed in anything ever.  EVER.  Simply awful." Mike D was not available for comments.

The top three of the order have clearly not been playing up to expectations in this postseason.

Yeah, they've been sucking wind.  It all starts with Lopes, EDavis and the Straw.  Without consistent contributions from those guys, we're screwed.
