CUNTED!!!!

I was purposely trying to avoid reading anything at all until Darky posted the YouTube clip to avoid spoilers.  But if the results will be spoiled, I'm glad they are spoiled in the cause of victory.

Should be a few more minutes before the quality of the video is much better, but the video is of much better quality than the week 1 games on youtube---I adjusted the settings on my camera from standard to high quality filming and filmed it a bit further back this time.

The other two videos are still loading...taking some time today on youtube.

Some questionable managing on our side there - Witt came out for a reliever in the top of the 8th, but they let him bat in the bottom of the 7th, grounding out with two men on base.

A suggestion for people who want to avoid spoilers, perhaps dark nuggets could change the subject of the thread when the games are setup...

Nacho

Or just post youtube videos in the same post as the games in the other format.

I just re-watched the end of the game on YouTube, and Darky's "GAME OVER!" yell at the end just about made me soil myself.

That was actually my son who said that hahaha. For some reason he wanted me to lose.

You can hear my kids with the tv going in the background in all the youtube games I filmed tonight.

Pabst Blue Ribbons dominate and mercy rule Fighting Ulrachers in seven

Arkansas (AP) - B.Blyvn and D.Sutton combined to silence the Ulracher bats, and C.Lemon went 5-5 as they led the Pabst Blue Ribbons to a dominating mercy rule victory over the Fighting Ulrachers in seven innings.

The story of the day was the brilliant pitching performances by B.Blyvn and D.Sutton. Blyvn tossed 4 scoreless innings and D.Sutton gave up only 2 runs in 3 innings of long relief. Both pitchers located the ball with precision and effectively changed speeds all afternoon to keep the Ulrachers off-balance.

Offensively, C.Lemon jumpstarted the Blue Ribbons offense from the leadoff spot as he went 5-5 at the plate. HoJo collected 3 hits, homered, and drove in 3 while Hrbek also registered 3 hits, drove in 3, and ended the game with his 3 run walk off-mercy rule homer.

The Pabst Blue Ribbons have now won 5 straight dating back to week 20 from last season.

Fighting Ulrachers 1-1, (1-1)
Pabst Blue Ribbons 2-0, (2-0)

Galactic Empire annihilate Poopydicks in six

Imperial Center (AP) - The Empire used great hitting and good pitching as they jumped out to a 11-3 commanding lead after three innings and never looked back as they mercy ruled the Poopydicks 18-8 in six innings.

The Poopydicks momentarily made a game of the Dove RBI divisional contest when they scored 4 runs in the  fifth inning to reduce the Empire lead to 11-8. However, that would be as close as they would get. The Empire responded with a 4 runs in the bottom half of the fifth, held the Poopydicks scoreless in the top of the sixth, and put the Poopydicks away in the bottom half of the inning when D.Strwby hit his second mammoth shot of the game, a two-run walk off-mercy rule towering shot that left the sold out Imperial Center Stadium in awe.

The Galactic Empire are now 4-0 all-time against the Poopydicks. The Empire handed the Poopydicks their first defeat in season IV, and swept them (3 game series) in the Dove RBI LCS.

Poopydicks 0-2, (0-1)
Galactic Empire 2-0, (2-0)

OC Legions of Doom hold off Artichokes, pick up their first victory

San Luis Obispo (AP) - The OC Legions of Doom got great pitching and used their touted power to hold off the feisty Artichokes 12-10 on a sunny and pleasant day at Sinsheimer Field.

The OC held a comfortable 10-4 lead going into the 7th inning, but the Artichokes scored 2 in the 7th and two runs the 8th to tighten up the contest 10-8.

In the bottom of the 8th inning, the OC Legions of Doom responded with a 2-run homer by J.Rice to give them a 12-8 lead going into the last inning.
Worrel came in to preserve the lead, but the Artichokes fought back as Heep came off the bench to hit his second pinch hit homer of the year which was followed by a pinch hit double by Dykstra. Schfld singled, Burks reached first base on a fielder's choice, and Dykstra eventually scored on a Colman double that hit the top of the fence in right field with two outs. With runners on second and third, R.Jackson stepped up to the plate with the game on the line. Worrel reached down for something extra, and got the dangerous Jackson to ground out and picked up the save.

Brookn and Dwning combined to go 8-10 and three homeruns to lead the OC on offense.

Fighting Artichokes 1-1, (1-0)
OC Legions of Doom 1-1, (0-1)
