Re-Peat

Saves are crap.  They're a purely situational stat that the management controls.  I don't even think a pitcher that comes in with a 3 run lead and gives up 2 before closing it out deserves a save either.

I think what Darky is saying is, rather than just make it because the last pitcher "saved" a game that was only three runs different, for our purposes, make it more runs to qualify??

So yes, I agree. Not if they caused it, necessarily, but lengthening the amount of runs needed.

I agree with this, but I still like the idea of tracking them, because it's a fantasy baseball league.

Sounds good - I was just checking to make sure, and I completely agree that increasing it to 5 or 6 or whatever you think is right is fine.
