Benito Santiago - Kansas City Royals
Ellis Burks - Free Agent
John Franco - New York Mets
Julio Franco - Atlanta Braves
Roger Clemens - Houston Astros

Who will be the last man from RBI still playing? I think Burks and Santiago are currently on the DL - I thought I read that Burks might be out for the season.
I'm going to vote for Johnny Franco. All are very, very close to the end, but Johnny is a lefty playing in his hometown, you'd think he could hang on for another year or two, who knows about the rest?

In a chat on ESPN.com awhile ago (it was linked to here, but I'm too lazy to look), Tony Gwynn said he thinks it'll be Benito.  Personally, I say Franco, because he's already something like 45 - if he can still play now, he can make 50.

St. Louis, Missouri - Walt Jocketty, General Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, was seen early this morning eating breakfast with former Cardinal pitchers John Tudor and Todd Worrell.  I hurried to ask Jocketty for an interview as he left the Dunkin' Donuts, but he declined.  John and Todd were more than happy to talk with me over another iced jelly filled and coffee.  The informed me that the two had been working out together to make a comeback.  Both pitchers were upset with the way this season ended for the redbirds and wanted to help next season.  Both pitchers had surgery to tighten tendons in their throwing arms.  The same procedure that former Cubs one-year wonder Henry Rowengartner had done.  Worrell says his fastball is consistently three digits and he can throw it all day.  He also told me that he had been working with God and Abraham on a nasty change up.  He can take upwards of 40 mph off his change up now and feels confident that the changeup could drop another 10 by spring training.  Tudor had 2 more surgeries, one in his wrist and one in his hand.  He told me that the hand surgery made him capable of throwing a knuckle ball with out changing his throwing motion.  He calls it a "squiggle" pitch.  Also the wrist work he had done allows him to unhinge the wrist to help with his breaking ball.  John was throwing some pitches to Jesus Christ last Thursday and said that the curves made Him cry.  
When i asked about contract deals the two said that they planned to accept the same salary they were paid in their final year with the Cardinals.  More information should be coming in the following days and weeks.  Cardinals fans rejoice!!!!
