I made it a point not to look at the length of the movie while I was watching, and I honestly thought we were going to win by slaughter after seeing the first two innings.  Hell of a comeback there, and nice job by your bullpen again shutting down our offense.

There is just no way for me to ignore it, it's the first thing I notice when it starts.  Only bad part about watching on youtube imo.

Put a piece of tape/paper over where the time/bottom bar is going to be.

we had the right guys up in the bottom of the ninth and we just didn't get it done.

Yeah - I felt pretty good going into the ninth down two with the pitcher leading off, but the big bats just couldn't deliver in the clutch.

That was crazy you guys didn't score anything in the 9th. You guys have been getting off to good starts, then you simmer down the stretch. Should be an interesting game 7.

Tudor has just been killing us with his arm and stick. I don't get how he's just dominated my lineup. We haven't had any big innings all series, and the Hammocks just kill us with their big innings. We need to have the lead when Clemens comes in and make sure Tudor does not go the distance again. Tomorrow the Empire will find a way. It's going to be a battle---I see it coming down to the wire. I was pondering about benching some guys, but I backed off. Our pitchers need to get hits as well. That has been a huge difference in the last two games---the Hammock pitchers have outhit our pitchers---and those kinds of things keep rallies going. And Leonard needs to stop hitting into double plays. The Hammocks lack of speed has not been a factor this series. Not too many guys thrown out on the bases and we've actually hit into more double plays than them.

In any case, there will be a small lineup change. Doran and Sheridan will flip-flop as well as Gaetti and Donnie Baseball---and Buckner and Gladden will flip-flop for the sub hitting order. So here it is:

Leo
Shrdn
Straw
Gaetti
Donnie Baseball
Madlck
Heath
Doran

Bucknr

Banana Hammocks stun Empire, underdogs force game 7

Milwaukee (AP) - The suddenly confident Banana Hammocks used a 9-run 5th inning to propel them to a 17-10 victory and forcing a perhaps epic game 7.

C.Davis, M.Schmidt, and A.Dawson were very productive as the trio combined to go 13-18 from the 2-3-4 hole while Garner went 3-6 and D.Hndrsn went 3-6 to help with the punch on offense.

F.Vlnzla was cruising until he was forced out, then Sutclf relieved him in the 5th inning only to be torched for 11 runs in 3 innings. Tudor on the other hand continues his post season mastery over the Empire as he only allowed 5 earned runs in 5 innings pitched and picked up the win for the second consecutive game. The pitcher also went 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI.

The heavy underdog and first year Banana Hammocks, who nobody gave a chance to come this far, have battled back once again from a 3-1 series deficit and have played like they are the 2-time Dove RBI champions. They have shown no fear against the mighty Empire. "We don't fear them and we feel like we have a great chance to win game 7" said an arrogant but confident M.Schmidt while A.Dawson said "they can't pitch to me". Manager Turd refused to address the media.

Owner Darkside reflected, "They match up well against us and they have raised their game to another level. However, we feel really confident about game 7 and are excited to play in such a game. We feel we are at our best when everything is on the line. We are the Empire, and the Empire finds ways to get it done. The Force will be with us".

Game 7 will follow the Ulrachers-OC game which will begin at 3:30 pm Dee Nee time.

Ulrachers comeback from 10-3 deficit, bullpen pitches lights out

Sioux Falls (AP) - The Fighting Ulrachers overcame a 3rd inning 10-3 deficit and took control of the game after a 7-run sixth inning as Gooden and the bullpen silenced the explosive bats of the OC down the stretch to win it 17-15 and setting up a huge game 7 to determine the Gantry League champions.

The exciting ball game came down to the bottom of the 9th inning. Grelts came in the 9th to preserve the victory. Grelts got Worrel to pop up and the dangerous top of the lineup of the OC Legions of Doom was coming up. The crowd at Sioux Falls Stadium, sensing some 9th inning magic, were on their feet clapping and cheering their team on. Brookn then came up and smacked a double. Grelts then got J.Rice to chase a splitter for an out and M.McGwir stepped up to the plate with two outs and the game on the line. McGwir lined out to end the game and Grelts picked up the save in a nailbiting situation.

The Ulrachers have now battled back from a 3-1 series deficit and will have perhaps the game's best pitcher take the bump when Doc Gooden starts tonight. However, he'll need to bring his good stuff to keep the explosive OC Legions of Doom quiet.

The game will begin at 3:30 PM Dee Nee time.

We had a good pitchers meeting with our advanced scouts...the sheet has been refined and we feel good about how we are going to attack the Hammock hitters.

Also had a players meeting with the hitters. No physical changes were made, just some pointers were made about the mental game and playing heads up Empire ball. We feel real good about this game and we are very excited to crush this year's version of the Cinderella story.

An important note here, if the world cup goes into OT---the gametime will be announced after the WC game. As if now, the new starting time is 3:45 dee nee time.

Dammit. YouTube on my phone isn't working rig now.

Congrats Turd. Scoring 10 runs the last three games won't cut it in this league. The Empire is still in shock. I can't believe this... >:(

Turd

I won? Pretty shocked. All those after hours batting practices paid off! It's been an emotional post season for the Hammocks. Sorry nuggets, I know how much this meant to you.

TβG

great game vs. ulrachers.  lead exchanges, bullpens battling.  i say ultimate7 is the most feared owner/manager in the league.
