After one of my college room mates brought up his original NES and RBI baseball, I knew there were others who had the same passion for the game.  This site quickly became one my favorites and the RBI drinking game took over our room by storm.  Thanks for sharing (We use Natural Ice as our drink of choice)

Welcome All-Star, good to have ya!   We need more people adopting the drinking game, especially on the college level.  Natty Ice, eh?  That's got a little alcohol kick, around 5.5%?  Sounds like the old Bud Ice days...   Ahh the blackout beer, how I miss thee...

I never really thought "Straight Pitch" would be that much fun and or competitive........man I was wrong.  We now have to play with teams like the Twins or Astros just to make it through the night.  I did my best in spreading the joys of "Death" by hosting tournaments on friday afternoons to start off the night.

RBI Drinking to start the night before the bars/party is key at college.  And of course you can be liberal with the term "drink" - by drink we mean a swig of beer not a chug.  We go through 2-3 beers per game in high drinking mode....

Who in your opinion is the RBI Drinking Game M.V.P?  I seem to do the best with Chili Davis and Kirk Gibson.  Lefties seem to get a better bat on the ball with the slower pitches.

Lefties are key in straight pitch and the drinking game.  Reggie Jackson is my MVP, but everyone has their own star.   Keys to drinking game are to save the mediocre subs for the clutch PH dinger (especially lefties with runners on base) and use Willie Hernandez or any other lefty to get the tough patch of lefties out.  A lefty pitcher pitching outside to a lefty is VERY tough to hit...

Baines

The drinking game is always guaranteed to result in good times.  Quite possibly the best way to get ready to go out.  That is unless you end up passed out by the NES at 10:00 or puking in your friends driveway because you decided to play it with Wild Irish Rose.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...
